As the rest of the world battles a deadly pandemic, the media elites suffer from an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.  It's so acute, that they are seemingly completely focused on tearing down the president at this time of national (and global) crisis.  It's a losing strategy, but it's the only thing they can manage.

Russia's Vladimir Putin recently finagled constitutional amendments to permit him to run for two more terms (though he said that it should be a temporary constitutional change that covers only him). Now that he has effectively sewn up his position as president until 2036, Russia is finally starting to reveal more fully the extent of its coronavirus infections.  Russia is apparently still claiming that they've had no Wuhan coronavirus-related deaths.

If you're a political / news junkie like me, you have been inundated with coronavirus doom and gloom of late.  From the media's relentless TDS that has turned them into scruffy sandwich-board doomsday prophets to news of stay-at-home orders and various lock-downs, we can easily get caught up in the panic and despair ourselves.

One of Elizabeth Warren's key 2020 presidential campaign pledges was eschewing big money donors and PACs, claiming they were dangerous to democracy. Of course, this didn't stop her from transferring over from her Senate campaign big money from big donors, nor did it stop her campaign from holding big dollar fundraisers with a cardboard cutout in place of Warren herself.

Sunday's Democrat debate will feature Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, no Tulsi Gabbard.  After his horrendous showing in the last two primaries, Sanders announced that he is staying in the race to attend this debate and to challenge Biden on a range of issues. The debate starts at 8 p.m. Eastern and can be seen on CNN or Univision.  We are including a live stream below.

Between the Crash and Bern and Warren coming in third in her home state, Super Tuesday was awesome. While much of our attention is on the Democrat presidential primary, there was an interesting development in Alabama. Former Senator and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions failed to secure the Republican nomination for his old Senate seat and now faces a runoff election on March 31st. Former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville won 33.4% of the vote to Sessions' 31.6%.

Democrats have a problem with Latino voters, and it's very similar to the problem they have with other voting blocs. Instead of seeing Latinos as people who care about more than illegal immigration, Democrats don't talk to Latinos about jobs, health care, education, taxes, national security, or anything, really, other than illegal immigration.
