Biden Supporters Charged After Allegedly Taking a 7-year-old Child’s MAGA Hat

Camryn Amy and Olivia M. Winslow face charges that include robbery and endangering the welfare of a child

https://twitter.com/MiaCathell/status/1297577334640390146

Leftists are so fragile that the mere sight of a Trump hat drives them into a violent, irrational tantrum.  We’ve covered a large number of incidents related to lefties triggered by MAGA hats, even by MAGA hat lookalikes, but the latest is perhaps the hardest to watch because the victim is a 7-year-old boy.

The incident happened near the site of the Democrat National Convention. A mother and son were out supporting President Trump, when two Biden supporters appear to have become enraged by the pro-Trump signs they were holding and by the young boy’s MAGA hat.  The women tore up the signs and appear to have stolen the child’s MAGA hat.

Watch:

Both women have been arrested and charged with robbery and endangering the welfare of a child, among other charges.

WDEL reports:

Wilmington Police have arrested a 21-year-old woman they said assisted in the theft of a 7-year-old child’s MAGA hat outside the Democratic National Convention in Wilmington.

Police arrested Camryn Amy on August 22, 2020, a day after Olivia M. Winslow was arrested and charged in connection to the same incident, which occurred in the 600 block of Justison Street and went viral after a video of the exchange was posted on social media.

. . . . Court records obtained by WDEL report the victim telling police Amy “forcefully” snatched a political sign from her hand while Winslow stole the MAGA hat and handed it to her alleged accomplice. Winslow is also accused of knocking a hat off an adult woman’s head. As the victim’s 7-year-old son went to retrieve the hat off the ground, Amy allegedly attempted to stomp on the hat, but stomped on the boy’s hand, according to statements in court records. The little boy wasn’t hurt, but did begin to cry, police said.

Amy was accused of punching a third victim, a man, in the face, resulting in a small laceration to his lip which caused him “substantial pain” the victim told police in court records. Amy then allegedly threw the MAGA hat over a fence and struck the adult woman in the face with a closed fist, which did not result in injury, court records said.

Amy is facing the same charges as Winslow–first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, and endangering the welfare of a child–along with an additional two counts of offensive touching. She was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in lieu of $45,000 secured bond.

If the sight of that little boy crying and repeatedly asking that his MAGA hat be returned was as upsetting to you as it was to me, take heart.  Donald Trump, Jr. says he is making sure the little boy gets a new MAGA hat.

They have the Biden child molesters on film.

These are real “Divas”, strong, powerful women….when it comes to abusing a child that is. Typical role models for the democrat establishment, if you’ve seen one you’ve seen ’em all.

“Leftists are so fragile that the mere sight of a Trump hat drives them into a violent, irrational tantrum.”

Mo, they are not victims. They are bullies.

    TX-rifraph in reply to TX-rifraph. | August 23, 2020 at 8:10 pm

“No” not “Mo.” Two letters too much…

Interesting! I would have never thought that this sentence might imply I see them as victims, but I take your point. To be clear, I do not and never have and never will see these crazed lefties as “victims” of anything other than their own ideological religion and Trump derangement–both of which fuel their anti- and un-American belief system.

We didn’t attack people for wearing Mao and Che tees, Obama hats, and etc., that’s the left who are attacking all “wrong thinkers.” Yeah, I think socialists and commies are wrong, dead wrong, but I would never attack them, steal their belongings, assault them for daring to wear something I personally find offensive–well, to be clear, just stupid (I’m not “offended” by commie tees and hats, I just pity the fool who wears them). Of course they are bullies. Cry-bullies.

I think the term “fragile” is a neat reply to the “White Fragility” I have been hearing about.

TX-rifraph in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | August 24, 2020 at 6:10 am

I never inferred that you saw them as actual victims. I was commenting on the words. We tend to use the words of the left, words that are ambiguous and even vague. That allows shifts in meaning and the left exploits those shifts. I sacrificed clarity for conciseness in my comment. My error.

Actually, I think bullies are fragile in that they have zero tolerance for any disagreement or any failure to submit. Bullies are never offended by anything other than resistance to them in any way. Bullies have serious psychological problems that they demand to share with mentally healthy people (as displayed by these two women).

I always have and always will hate bullies. Apparently, it is hard coded.

Black Lives Matter — Hijacked by Antifa. This OberlinChaos article explains how and why the legitimate aspirations of BLM have been hijacked.

This dishonest hijacking is based on Lenin’s and Mao’s template for revolution and “Correct Thinking”. The template is explained at https://oberlinchaos.com/litigation/hall-of-shame/blm-antifa-maoist/

BLM is a Marxist organization that wants to tear down our society as we know it. Their aspirations are not “legitimate.”

What you say is true, but irrelevant. The point of the cited article is that legitimate aspirations have been hijacked. I am sorry that you apparently do not see the difference between the shrinking number of decent people in the room and all the perverted sickies.

Paul in reply to Paul. | August 24, 2020 at 6:23 pm

Nobody who is trying to install a Marxist system in this country is “decent.” Full stop.

BTW, one of Lenin’s teachings is to always accuse your opponent of what you are doing, and do it before they even think to accuse you!

Re your early (inaccurate) take on the benign silliness of Seattle’s CHAZ organizers and your current take on Portland’s (maybe, it’s too soon to tell if) comical Guillotine on Wheels’ demonstrators, flag desecrators all:

I think you unwittingly and without bad faith impute a substantial degree of sympathy for these perps when you find them so buffoonish in their efforts, rather than more plainly and facially being up to something different and devious enough that it will probably end wrong, maybe horribly so, in their intent to produce disorder and serious angst where others reside peacefully.

I venture now to say that, very generally, any comic (as in your assessment of these actors) doing his or her shtick gets laughs because, among other likely things, we, the audience, have been there, experienced that, to some degree, really or vicariously.

Wasn’t the Seinfeld crew’s plight pretty much about being misunderstood, wrongly blamed or shortchanged, as a . . . victim of sorts? Didn’t the Soup Nazi have a basic problem, I mean? Point being, then, when we laugh, aren’t we empathizing with victimhood?

Just a thought and a guess, I’m saying, a way to consider some reflection on a repeating theme of your general view of these highly charged and extraordinary, social anomaly-filled days.

Let me add that, in the main, I find your intellectual acuity very refreshing and thought-provoking, not to mention way up there on the penetrating/astute scale.

What a fantastic comment! I deeply appreciate the rhetorical skill here: you’ve cleverly woven critique with praise, and I thank you sincerely for both.

Okay, so here’s my deal: there are elements of the inane and foolish about what we are seeing (the Bible burning, the CHAZ bs, the rolling a teddy bear in a guillotine around), and there are elements of the serious and dangerous (blinding officers with lasers, the ongoing criminality, looting, arson, vandalism, assault, murder). I think that there are two ways to approach this because there are two elements involved. The first earns, to my mind well-deserved, ridicule and mockery, and the second earns disgust, outrage, and condemnation.

Ridicule and mockery are very powerful weapons, particularly against crazed demagogues. Here’s an awesome video from the great Bill Whittle about the power of ridicule (okay, it’s about iconography, but watch to the end): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdtqtfXdR-c

It was constant ridicule that caused CHAZ to change its name to CHOP. CHOP, they thought, being all revolution-y and stuff (all hail the guillotine). These are crazed ideologues who crave nothing more than to be taken seriously and who should therefore be mocked, pointed at, laughed at. They were swept out of the Wizard of CHAZland in literally 15 minutes once the city decided enough was enough.

This is not to diminish the deaths they caused, but to illustrate that ridicule works. These are brainwashed zombies who thought they would teach the world how to live in a “cop-free” commie slice of Seattle but turned it into a hellscape. It was ludicrous from the get-go, and it needed to be called out as such. Only children want to live in a graffiti-laden never never land of human filth and decay. Even the NYT and WaPo stopped pushing the CHAZ is the model-future crap when it became clear they were human scum.

The Bible burning was another of their revolution theater acts that I mocked here at LI and that a zillion other Trumpers ridiculed on social media. It needed mocking because it is a tired trope that they don’t even recognize as such until they are ridiculed. See any burning Bibles lately? The ridicule cured them of that impulse. See how it works?

Now, the flag-burning is something they will keep doing because it still works to a degree, though not nearly to the same degree it did in the ’60s. The teddy bear in a guillotine, come on! How could I resist? That was comical. On its face.

Don’t get me wrong, if they thought they could literally guillotine the “wrong thinkers,” they would. I have zero doubt about that, but they can’t, not even in Democrat-run cities. Two shooting deaths shut down CHAZ/CHOP, what would guillotining an innocent do to unite the nation against these evil lunatics? Their handlers will keep them in check, and I suspect these handlers are starting to figure out that there is nothing these anarchist loons can do to provoke normal Americans beyond entering our city, town, neighborhood.

But that won’t work, either. They have tried to come to our towns and cities and get run out by locals supported by local law enforcement (fantastic vids of this from all over the country on YouTube), so they are stuck in Democrat-controlled areas. I’m good with that. And I’m pretty sure President Trump is good with that, too. It’s a winner for November.

That guy that got hit should have punched back – multiple times.

    randian in reply to 4fun. | August 24, 2020 at 1:31 am

Then he would have gotten assault charges. Remember the female sentencing discount. These women got “offensive touching” charges for punching people.

    GWB in reply to 4fun. | August 24, 2020 at 10:10 am

I was taught never to hit a lady.

    She’s no lady.

Baylor is no country club. It’s the only correctional facility for women in all of Delaware. Despite the state’s size, Wilmington and New Castle got some ‘hood and eat little princesses like these two for lunch.

I have to wonder how supportive they will be of BLM after their stint in jail with a Mamma using them for “comfort”.

This will effect their whole lives, and being child abusers probably won’t be a career enhancement, even though they have TDS.

I doubt they will worm their way out of this assault charge, as it is on video, which makes their actions hard to lie about enough to convince a jury that they are innocent. I hope they get the longest possible sentence as they have traumatized that young man, and that will affect his life.

    Barry in reply to oldgoat36. | August 23, 2020 at 9:47 pm

It’s a prog state with a prog judiciary. I’ll bet they plead to a lower level misdemeanor and walk off scot free.

.
Dems whine, “You can’t call them women! It’s just kids being kids! Look how young they are!”

Whatever… Call them childish, just like so many Dems

“Camryn Amy and Olivia M. Winslow face charges that include robbery and endangering the welfare of a child”

Maybe they consider the charges as resume enhancers. This incident will follow them over the years.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to Rab. | August 23, 2020 at 9:25 pm

    Then lock them up.

Got to for socialism-communism distancing you know.

The Friendly Grizzly | August 23, 2020 at 8:38 pm

They both have that smug, “Yeah yeah, whatever…!” look.

Jack Klompus in reply to The Friendly Grizzly. | August 24, 2020 at 6:26 am

And they have the voices to go along with that ‘tude. Check out their other delightful incident. They are carbon copies of Eric Cartman’s “Wha’evah…wha’evah…” gutter ho parody on South Park.

Criminal prosecution, yes.

The taking of the hat was civil assault and battery, conversion, intentional infliction of emotional distress, not to mention special laws in that state dealing with crimes against children. The civil suit is what is going to break them and compensate the 7 year old and his family.

SeekingRationalThought | August 23, 2020 at 9:24 pm

These are just the kind of women our mothers warned us about – reasonably presentable, but bat-Schiff crazy. 🙂

God have mercy on their souls
because
THIS REPUBLIC CAN NOT.

A rather anodyne title, methinks!

Socialists (including Democrats) are bad people

These cuties were having quite a day.

https://thepostmillennial.com/busted-arrested-biden-supporters-also-threatened-students-for-trump-activist

Rather than smug, annoying, pseudo-intellectual fast-talk you hear from the ones confident about everything they absorbed in class from that super-cool professor, the diction here is more like what you get from the other faction of the DNC crowd – trashy ghetto “yo I bus’ yo a*s b*tch!” lingo right off the Springer Show set.

I would like to hear them explain their criminal behavior to prospective employers. That guy should have decked her after she punched him.

I thought you guys were good lawyers?? Your headline strongly suggests the notion of guilt by association, hardly an admirable perspective to be broadcast by members of the legal profession.

In what way? That they were Biden supporters?

Sure, you could imply they were Bernie supporters instead……..

Milhouse in reply to ultraskeptic. | August 24, 2020 at 7:43 pm

Guilt by association? No. Biden is not responsible for what some of his supporters do, any more than Trump is responsible for whatever some of his supporters do. But everyone who ever demanded that Trump expressly condemn and dissociate himself from every such incident individually, had better be making the same demand of Biden.

Speaking of which, did you see that Richard Spencer is supporting Biden? Again, not relevant except for those people who blamed Trump for Spencer supporting him last time, and who demanded that Trump not only know who the **** Spencer is, but that he take time out of his day to specifically denounce him. They’d better be making the same demand of Biden now.

    We’re bad lawyers.

    Now you know.

Lucifer Morningstar | August 24, 2020 at 8:43 am

And this is the kind of things we all need to be flooding Biden’s twitter feed with. Stick it in every post that he makes demanding an answer as to whether or not he condemns such behavior from his supporters condones such behavior. Be interesting to see his answer.

BierceAmbrose in reply to Lucifer Morningstar. | August 24, 2020 at 11:06 pm

    Yep.

    Waste the operatives’ time.

Dirty up the feel of the candidate.

Keep the consequences front n center: vote for more of those jackholes, n we’ll get more of these jackholes.

The women are criminals and should be punished.

The mom should not have encouraged her son to try to retrieve the hat. A mom’s number one duty is to take care of her children.

“Allegedly”????

There’s video.

Either they are high or their brainwashing is in complete full swing.

These two need about 10-12 months in the slammer to think about their behavior.

I have said this before…I’ll say it again….

PUT…DOWN…YOUR…PHONE….AND…FIGHT!!!!!!!!!

You can’t fight effectively with one hand…
You don’t need “Video Evidence”….SCREW THAT…!!!!!!!

PUT DOWN THE F’n PHONE AND…..FIGHT…!!!!!!!!

(God…I just can’t take it…!)

I hope everyone realizes these “demonstration” are not vanishing for YEARS.

Remember: Bezos indirectly gave these clowns 10 BILLION dollars. His idiot ex-wife “indirectly” gave them 1.7 BILLION dollars. Who knows what soros has given.

In other words, these people are paid rioters in a new, growth industry in America.

Until the money people are prosecuted criminally and sued for damages civilly, get used to Brownshirts Lives Matters.

If Joe and Ho’ are elected, they will be your new police.

The incident happened near the site of the Democrat National Convention.

The Dem convention site was the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. This incident happened more than 800 miles away in Wilmington, where Biden and Harris gave their speeches.

BierceAmbrose | August 24, 2020 at 11:32 pm

When their little property destruction tantrum didn’t go their way, they hit people in the face. On video. More than once. People, not one person.

Yeah, band together to cover the costs of securing redress for mom n kid. But, this is also a splendid oppy for parallel lawfare n P R operations.

– Everybody involved with the tantrum brats gets drug through the grindet. Drove them there – aiding a crime. Gave them the day off – abettimg. Organized the party event, the gathering, the protest – negligance, enabling, n incitement. Hell, go after their mobile providers – persecuters, excuse me “prosecuters” certainly would.

– Meanwhile, how it’s handled through the system becomes its own ongoing story. “DA Nematode charged two women with ‘bad touching’ for hitting a mom who demanded tbeh return her kid’s hat they had taken. The operative in govt probably thought that was on-point, their being Biden supporters – everybody.does, you know, the thing. Besides tbey were just acting out Democratic party polich: wbat’s yours is theirs.”

Didn’t somebody famous say: ” Punch back twice as hard?”
