God bless Brett Kavanaugh and his family who are under attack by Democrats. Earlier Monday, Kavanaugh wrote a letter making clear he is not intimidated by the political campaign to destroy his character nor will he be pushed to withdraw from the process. Monday evening Judge Kavanaugh and his wife sat down with Fox News' Marcha MacCallum for a public interview.

Soon to be retired Sen. Orrin Hatch is one of the handful of Senators behind the Music Modernization Act, passed by the Senate last week. Co-sponsored by Sen. Lamar Alexander from Tennessee and Sen. Orrin Hatch from Utah, the bill (whose counterpart passed in the House a few months ago) would change the way musicians are paid for their work.

Despite her claims to the contrary, Elizabeth Warren certainly seems to be laying the groundwork for a presidential run. But, if her constituents are a bellwether, Warren's time on the national stage could be short-lived.

Monday, the White House announced Trump's order for "immediate declassification" of the FISA application in the matter of Carter Page, a former Trump campaign advisor, which includes 20 pages of documents. Additionally, and the best part, Trump ordered public release "without redaction" of texts messages pertaining to the Russia investigation from James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

You can always count on Rep. Maxine Waters to give away the plans to destroy Trump's presidency and administration. The latest of which occurred Friday and included a suggestion to "knock off" Trump, which was greeted with applause and cheers. The National Newspaper Publishers Association gave Waters a National Leadership Award and Waters used her platform to trash Trump.

Senate Democrats have redefined "absurdity" since the confirmation hearings for Judge Kavanaugh began ten days ago. With every single antic squashed and mocked, Sen. Feinstein released a super secret letter to the FBI, a letter alleging that 30 some odd years ago, Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a woman.

The Texas Senate race between Senator Cruz and Rep. Beto O'Rourke has gotten a little too close for comfort (if the polling data is anywhere near accurate, which we've explored over the last few months here on the blog). Cruz and O'Rourke had been in discussions for five debates.
