Palestinian Islamic Jihad Terrorist Dies After Accidental Discharge Of Weapon He Was Cleaning

Islamic Jihad announcement: “the Al-Quds Brigades said in its military statement that the deceased fighter, ‘Ahmed Adel Attia Abu Ramadan,’ (27 years old), one of the Mujahideen of Al-Quds Brigades in the Al-Wusta Brigade, died today, Saturday, Muharram 25, 1445 AH, corresponding to August 12, 2023 AD, as a result of a mistake while cleaning the weapon.”

So-called Palestinian Work Accidents are when a terrorist is killed or seriously injured through his or his group’s error while preparing to attack Israel. We have covered dozens of such accidents.

The latest is Ahmed Adel Attia Abu Ramadan from Islamic Jihad, financed and run by Iran. You may recall that Islamic Jihad’s entire Gaza senior leadership was wiped out in May when Israel pre-empted Islmaic Jihad attack plans. Yet, Islamic Jihad held a victory parade.

So the death of Abu Ramadan is another great “victory” for Islamic Jihad.

The story was broken by Joe Truzman, an invaluable source on Palestinian terror groups:

The Islamic Jihad website (link is here if you dare) announced the death (translation via Google Translate) on its home page:

With a more extensive spread on a separate page:

Including the obligatory heroic death montage:

And plenty of photos of happier days when he dreamed of killing Jews:

I haven’t been able to find the usual Palestinian media glorification propaganda, which may signify he was a low-level operative.

Hey, accidents happen. Ahmed Adel Abu Ramadan joins many compatriots we have written about who have died or been injured in Palestinian “Work Accidents”:

Traditionally dangerous things: unloaded guns and insider stock information.

Those animals are as stupid as they’re evil. Israeli citizens run rings around them, but their demented brains are sly and determined with destruction..

“..;. who was promoted as a result of a mistake while cleaning weapons.”

May all such jihadists be similarly promoted.

Looking down the barrel to see if it’s clean before unloading it is always considered poor procedure.

Aside from the standard disclaimer, “there is no such nation or people called ‘palestinian’, and never has been,” it must be asked: Darwin Award Candidate; Judges, yes or no?

    Clearly he won the award.

The best part about the Darwin Award is that it can be given multiple times in a year, or even on the same day. The candidates and recipients are not in a position to complain that others received it. Thus, the award is never diminished by how many receive it.

The other best part is that the categories are only limited by the imagination of the recipients, and the level upon which they strive to get it.

Abba Dabba Doobie Ramadan’s award is quite basic for those who allegedly have superior knowledge with firearms.

The Darwin Award requires an element of originality in how one offs oneself, which is sadly lacking in the “Palestinian work accident” series.

It is a shame that his accident did not involve a lot of his fellows.

Allah is not impressed at all.

Are Eddie Eagle courses available in Arabic or Farsi?

henrybowman in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | August 14, 2023 at 10:26 pm

It was tried, it was futile.
Eddie’s message is, “Stop; Don’t Touch; Leave The Area; Tell An Adult.”
We ran into a cultural language barrier with the very first word.
One of our instructors got as far as the third rule, and was thrown off a building.

Seems to happen a lot for a crowd that puts guns in the hands of 5 y/o’s yelling “kill the infidel”

Well, you can either live by gun safety or die by it, I guess he made his choice. Oh well

Why not do both, like Alec Baldwin did!

“Show bizness kids, makin’ movies of themselves /
You know they don’t give a * about anybody else…”

Awwwwwww. Too bad.
See? This is why they need common sense gun control for Palestinians.

Good riddance!

That’s really unfortunate. I heard that Mr. Ahmed Adel Attia Abu Ramadan was on the short list to be Keynote speaker at the Dem’s National Convention.

I just love a heartwarming, good news story!

Just thismornin’ was wondering where the happy news stories where

Darwin award nominee.

“Accidentally killed while cleaning his gun” is a euphemism for suicide.

2smartforlibs | August 19, 2023 at 2:10 pm

His last words were “Silence I kill you”.

At about 7 or 8 years old, I was taught to treat every gun as if it was loaded. And not to point it at anything you did not want to shoot.
There are many cases of farmers with financial difficulty dying while cleaning a gun.

I bet he was trained to look down the barrel and pull the trigger… if he sees no flash, it’s unloaded. He and the IRS agent that blew away a fellow IRS firearms trainee may have read the same manual of arms.

The AK is so easy to disassemble to clean. The bad part is that this thins out the stupid ones leaving only the better trained.
