On October 14, 2016, Obama issued a "presidential policy directive" in which he laid out a multi-pronged approach "to promote engagement with the Cuban government and people, and make our opening to Cuba irreversible."  In this directive, Obama directs the Director of National Security to share intelligence with Cuba and to cooperate with Cuban intelligence. Members of Congress are concerned that U. S. intelligence will be shared by Cuba with Iran, particularly in light of Iran's recent assertion that it will "open a new chapter in relations with Cuba." The Washington Free Beacon reports:
Obama administration efforts to bolster the sharing of critical intelligence data with Cuba is likely to benefit Iran, which has been quietly bolstering its foothold in the country with the communist government’s approval, according to conversations with members of Congress and other sources familiar with the matter.

Huffington Post is the site that embarrassed itself by refusing for months to take the Trump candidacy seriously, relegating Trump coverage to its Entertainment section while explaining to readers that the Trump campaign was simply a "sideshow." So it's notable that it was HuffPo's Sam Stein, of all people, who testified to the decency of Trump supporters on today's Morning Joe, saying he found them "kind, very nice" and that there was no "blood in the streets." Stein and Joe Scarborough contrasted the decency ofTrump supporters with the scare story on the front page of today's New York Times, headlined "Some Donald Trump Voters Warn of Revolution if Hillary Clinton Wins."

You may recall Hen Mazzig, an Israeli who worked on campuses in the Pacific Northwest several years ago. The hate he experienced from American BDS activists was almost beyond belief,  Israeli soldier shocked to see ugly side of U.S. campus life Hen was scheduled yesterday to speak at University College London. I knew trouble was waiting when Hen send out this tweet before his scheduled speaking appearance:

Message to Ron Reagan: when it comes to this barbaric procedure, it's not about the nomenclature . . . On this evening's Hardball, Ron Reagan claimed that "there's no such thing as partial-birth abortion. Doesn't exist." Reagan criticized third-debate moderator Chris Wallace for having used the term. Would Reagan's exquisite sensitivities be assuaged if Wallace had used the technical term: intact dilation and extraction? The bottom line is the same: Hillary Clinton supports it and Donald Trump opposes it.

The more Wikileaks dumps Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta's emails the more we lear just how deep the cover-up goes for a supposed no big deal incident. We have also learned that quite a few on her side knew the private email system was a big deal and expressed frustration with those who brushed it aside. The loudest critic has to be Neera Tanden, CEO of Center for American Progress, who has railed against Hillary's private email system. In an email leaked today she said: Tanden Hillary Email

As we've long said about Obamacare -- rising costs and the destruction of the health insurance marketplace are a feature of the President's hallmark administration, not a bug. Jonathan Gruber, Obamacare architect agrees. In an interview with CNN Wednesday, Gruber explained Obamacare was, "working as designed".

Boston Latin is a public school, but also an exam school with an admissions process so you might say the students who attend enjoy a certain level of (ahem) privilege to do so. The school also has a dress code which some students find problematic with some even claiming it perpetuates rape culture. FOX News reports:

When my super-talented colleague Mary Chastain wrote about the new tone of state Republican party ads, she posted that Hillary Clinton was the most probable winner. She would be right if the reports we were getting weren't being offered through a haze of "Gaslight," a point that conservative talk show host Tammy Bruce has been making often in recent days is that the elite media is manipulating the reports to distort reality to create a very specific outcome (e.g., 3 media organizations have given their employees orders to destroy Trump).
