The Supreme Court has made it official that next year, for the first time in its history, it will hear a case involving a transgender person's right to use a bathroom that corresponds with his "gender identity" while at school. To briefly summarize, Gavin Grimm (or GG as he is referred to in court documents) is a transgender male. This means that the sex  at birth was female, but he identifies as male. According to court documents, Grimm “lives all aspects of his life as a boy” but has not had sex reassignment surgery. Prior to the start of his sophomore year of high school, Grimm and his mother informed the Gloucester County School Board that he was a transgender boy. By all accounts the Board was exceedingly accommodating. For about seven weeks (and with his school’s permission), Grimm utilized the boys’ room without incident. Eventually, however, students took note of the fact that Grimm was a transgender boy, and some were less than comfortable with the arrangement.

Thornton Law Firm, a progressive Massachusetts-based firm that donates heavily to Democrat campaigns, including that of Elizabeth Warren, seems to have bit of a problem with its (now former) "bonus" scheme.  Many of Thornton's "bonuses" to its partners were in the exact same amount of said partners' "personal" donations to political campaigns . . . often paid within ten days of their making said political donations. Explaining that Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) flew to Boston to join other political candidates hoping to cash in at Thornton Law Firm, The Boston Globe reports:
But a striking thing happened the day Tester visited in 2010. Partner David C. Strouss received a payment from the firm labeled as a “bonus” that exactly equaled his $2,400 contribution to Tester’s campaign, the maximum allowed. A few days later, partner Garrett Bradley — until recently the House assistant majority leader on Beacon Hill — got a bonus, too, exactly matching his $2,400 gift to Tester.

From the Arkansas Governorship to the U.S. presidency to the State Department to the Clinton Foundation, the Clintons corrupt every institution they touch. That includes the current presidential election, with Bill Clinton meeting secretly (until caught) with Attorney General Loretta Lynch as the FBI and DOJ were evaluating whether to prosecute Hillary. Bill didn't need to say particular words to influence Lynch, the message was sent by the meeting. It tainted Lynch, DOJ, the FBI and the entire investigation. Hillary was under investigation because she improperly set up a private server to handle her work email traffic, including classified information. This was done for the worst of reasons, to create a shadow electronic government completely under the control of Hillary and her team in order to shield her records of public service from public scrutiny. All else flows from that, including putting Obama in a position of lying to the public about what he knew and when he knew it.

History's Most Qualified Candidate couldn't be bothered to read the second page of a two-page letter. That was Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook's laughably lame excuse for the lie Hillary perpetrated in claiming that FBI Director Comey had only sent his recent letter to Republican members of Congress. In fact, the second page of the letter clearly showed that all the ranking Dems on the various committees had been sent the letter. Mook offered up his feeble fish story to Chris Wallace on today's Fox News Sunday. Mook also repeatedly dodged Wallace's question as to whether Hillary has asked Huma what was in the emails on the laptop Abedin shared with husband Anthony Weiner.

Two Florida universities and the University of Illinois have been battling outbreaks of hand, foot, and mouth disease that involve about three dozen cases in the last couple of months.
According to the National Institutes of Health, about 200,000 people in the U.S. get the disease each year, but Dr. Fenyong Liu, an infectious disease expert at UC Berkeley, says a lot more than that carry the viruses associated with the disease. “This represents a silent epidemic because people don’t know they have the virus, and we don’t know these people have the virus,” Dr. Liu said. Doctors say the disease is highly contagious, making daycare centers, and now colleges, ideal breeding grounds. “This fecal or oral transmission is really an issue when you have dining hall and all this share the dorm,” Dr. Liu said.

There have been numerous developments today in the reopening of the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton, most notably the declaration of war by Clinton World on James Comey. The war started after almost 24 hours of shock and awe resulting from the Friday afternoon announcement left Team Hillary and the rest of Clinton World attempting to hold back the onslaught of news coverage. Clinton World first tried to buy itself time by arguing over what the meaning of "reopen" was. It was comical, but arguing over definitions is what the Clintons do to buy themselves time until they can counter attack:

Saree Makdisi, professor of English and comparative literature at UCLA, has endorsed and is a vocal advocate for the academic and cultural boycott of Israel, as demanded by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. The American Association of University Professors considers systematic academic boycotts, such as the BDS academic boycott of Israel, to be a violation of academic freedom and a threat to the free exchange of ideas necessary for academic and scientific progress. Over 250 university presidents and large university associations have condemned the BDS academic boycott for these reasons. Which means Makdisi wants to violate the academic freedom not only of Israelis, but of those who want to deal with Israelis.  If the academic boycott Makdisi supports succeeded, breakthrough cancer research conducted by and with Israeli universities would have to be boycotted.

The Florida Senate race is starting to look a lot like the presidential race, at least in terms of wildly fluctuating numbers amongst polls and significant changes reported almost daily. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is running against newly-mined Democrat and Representative of Florida's 18th district Patrick Murphy (D-FL), and the race currently stands . . . who knows?  Polls show that Rubio is up as much as 10 points, 6 points, or maybe only 3.6 points (the latter two down from a 7 point lead earlier this month). Murphy, so far, is not leading and has not led in any poll, but that hasn't stopped Democrats from taking another look as polls fluctuate and the race appears to tighten. Following the DSCC pulling its money out of the Rubio-Murphy race less than two weeks ago, Roll Call reports that two super PACs, one backed by Harry Reid, are quickly getting Murphy some small amounts of cash.
Florida Rep. Patrick Murphy is getting a cash boost from donors and a Democratic super PAC as his campaign shows signs of life in his Senate race against Republican incumbent Sen. Marco Rubio.

It appears as if the elite media is actually participating in conservation efforts...by recycling old stories of humanity's impending doom. About one year ago, news outlets were reporting that the Earth has entered a sixth mass extinction phase, with animals now dying out at 100 times the normal rate. In my detailed analysis of the other 5 extinction level events, I noted than mankind played absolutely no role. In fact, the Permian extinction wiped out 95% of all lifeforms. Unless therapsids were driving S.U.V.'s or had air conditioning, it is difficult to condemn fossil fuels as the cause of such a massive loss of species. Obviously, we have not been sufficiently scared. So, now a new new report has been released asserting that over 60 percent of species will be gone in four short years.

Loretta Lynch's Department of Justice just can't seem to leave alone the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton for her private email server and its ramifications for national security.  The "tarmac summit" between Lynch and Bill Clinton was grossly improper, leading FBI agents to suggest the meeting was to broker "an inside deal."  And now we are learning that "senior Justice officials" warned the FBI against Comey updating Congress regarding an email stash found while investigating Hillary's top aide Huma Abedin's disgraced husband Anthony Weiner. The Washington Post reports:
Senior Justice Department officials warned the FBI that Director James B. Comey’s decision to notify Congress about renewing the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server was not consistent with long-standing practices of the department, according to officials familiar with the discussions.
