The Washington Free Beacon broke the story revealing the donors of the anti-Trump "resistance." The donation list is revealing on a number of levels.  It shows the extensive, spider-web interconnectivity of a network of leftist radicals and organizations, and it shows how they ensnare major corporations into financially supporting their radical, anti-American aims. The list includes the usual suspects like George Soros and some suspects new to the political activist realm, namely, the NFL players' union who were happy to join Soros in his latest astroturf efforts, manufacturing the appearance of wide-spread anti-Trump "resistance."

Since President Trump's election, we've seen remarkable ideological turnarounds from the left.  Suddenly, communist Russia is the enemy rather than a model for the perfect society ala Bernie's decades-long admiration, the First Amendment is now of some import in protecting free speech (theirs and no one else's), and the unrestrained spending of the federal government is now a problem. These are the same people who have said nothing about Obama nearly doubling our national debt, who cue up to sing the praises of Bernie's Russia-inspired budget-busting lunacy regarding free college and Medicare for all, and who shrug and note that a few million taxpayer dollars used to train for a zombie apocalypse is merely a drop in the bucket of the federal budget.

Pew Research Center has released an extensive report on the media coverage of President Trump's first 100 days.  There are a lot of interesting tidbits throughout, but the overriding conclusion is the right-leaning outlets were more neutral in their coverage than left-leaning or "mixed" outlets. Further, Pew found that right-leaning outlets were more likely to present negative Trump stories than left-leaning outlets were likely to present positive Trump stories.

NBC News thought it had a big scoop when it reported that Vice President Mike Pence had to step in and convince Secretary of State Rex Tillerson not to resign in July after he allegedly called President Donald Trump a 'moron'. Tillerson held a press conference this morning to counter these reports and assure everyone that he has never considered leaving his post. The State Department has denied that Tillerson called Trump a moron. Despite this, the media remains focused on the 'moron' comment, which has now evolved from moron to f*cking moron.

When it comes to unhinged behavior from rabid leftists, I'm rarely surprised.  Poop on a police car?  Ick, but it figures.  Set up "rape tents" at the kumbaya Occupy camps?  Sad, but it figures.  Aging has-been pop singer claiming she dreams of blowing up the White House?  Disgraceful, but it figures.  Antifa thugs attack random people accusing them of being Nazis?  Horrifying, but it figures.  You get the picture.  Leftist outrages are many and varied; hardly anything they say or do surprises, much less shocks, me. But I was surprised to see the video of a California college student taking the MAGA hat off of a fellow student's head, marching over to Student Life to "report" him, and then launching into one of the most irrational rants I've ever heard.  Frankly, it  shocked me.  But mostly, it saddened me.

In metered market numbers, the primetime matchup that saw the Washington Redskins beat the Oakland Raiders 27-10 snared an 11.6/20, the worst SNF has performed this season so far. It’s an 8% dip from the early numbers of last week’s game, Atlanta’s 34-23 win over Green Bay. Amid cheers and boos from fans at FedEx Field in Maryland last night, the third week of the SNF season declined 10% from early numbers of the comparable game of last year on September 25, 2016.

Officers arrested three Democratic congressmen outside of Trump Tower during a protest against President Donald Trump's policies on immigration. From Fox News:
Arizona Rep. Raúl Grijalva‏, Illinois Rep. Luis Gutiérrez and New York Rep. Adriano Espaillat were taken into custody by police, according to Grijalva’s campaign Twitter account and a Gutiérrez aide.

Not even Hillary Clinton, acclaimed author of What Happened, went this far.  On Wednesday's Hardball, Dem Rep. Jackie Speier called Russian "hacking" of the presidential election an "act of war." Taking things a significant step further, Speier said:
"I'm not convinced that they didn't get into the [voting] machines."
That was too much even for Chris Matthews, who interjected, "we don't know that yet. We don't know that."

I get not liking someone and especially elected officials, but for all the talk of Trump's policy decisions being "cruel", you'd think there'd be a bit more self-awareness when wishing a monster storm rain fire, brimstone, and destruction on someone's home. And yet... Many, most in fact, invoked their Climatology religion (that's really what it's become), in their prayers for destruction of Trump's Mar-A-Lago estate.

There was an extended conversation on today's Morning Joe as to whether Kim Jong Un could be deterred. The discussion centered around the question of whether Kim is a rational actor. There was absolutely no ambiguity. The panel was discussing Kim's rationality or lack thereof. Sample statement: John Heilemann asked what Mattis, Tillerson, and McMaster "think about the rationality of this North Korean leader?"

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Democrats and their many media allies successfully created an unfair narrative which blamed George W. Bush for acting too slowly. When it became clear this week that President Trump planned to act quickly in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, they tried to make that the new narrative.
