The Israeli military on Monday foiled a cross border attack by Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group along the Lebanon border. A group of armed terrorists crossed into Israel and were spotted by Israeli soldiers, who repelled the intruders, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed.

Israel is mobilizing troops along its northern border as tensions rise with Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization. The Israeli reinforcements along its border with Lebanon come in light of threats issued by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah after Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) took out his operatives linked to an attack on Israeli troops across the Lebanese and Syrian border.

The Islamic terror group Hezbollah is hoping for a Chinese bailout as Lebanon suffers its worst economic crisis in decades. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech told his Lebanese followers to "look east" to Communist China for their economic rescue, media reports said.

Germany banned the Iran-sponsored terrorist group Hezbollah from operating in the country, German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer disclosed on Thursday. The announcement came ahead of police raids on several mosques located across Germany. "Police measures are underway in several federal states concurrently" against Hezbollah backers, Seehofer confirmed.

The United Kingdom has joined the United States in banning the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah in its entirety. The decision taken by the UK Treasury on Friday will lead to the freezing of all assets belonging to the Lebanon-based terrorist organization. The "failure to comply with financial sanctions legislation" or seeking to "circumvent its provisions" will be regarded as criminal offences, the UK  Treasury said in a statement.

The Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran, is using thugs to break up anti-government protests in the country's capital Beirut. Hundreds of Hezbollah followers armed with sticks assaulted protesters at an anti-corruption rally. They burned and dismantled tents set up by the demonstrators in the city center, news reports said.

The U.S. Ambassador to Berlin, Richard Grenell, has urged Germany to ban the Islamist terror organization Hezbollah from the country. Writing in the German newspaper Die Welt, the envoy called on Chancellor Angela Merkel's government to outlaw the Iran-backed terrorist group that has been "murdering innocent people from Lebanon to Syria, Thailand, Bulgaria, Spain and Argentina" for 37 years.

Israel has attacked Iranian bases in Syria to preempt the launch of a squadron of bomb-loaded attack drones that were in the final preparations for launch. The planned drone attack was personally supervised by Iranian Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani, according to the Israel Defense forces, which in an unusual move took to Twitter to announce the preemptive attack:

The British intelligence agency MI5 foiled a significant bomb plot linked to Iran-backed Hezbollah terror outfit, London-based Daily Telegraph disclosed. The British intelligence service and the Metropolitan Police uncovered a secret bomb factory in North West London in the autumn of 2015. They recovered thousands of packets containing ammonium nitrate, an explosive ingredient often used in homemade bombs.

The White House has officially designated Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). In a statement, President Donald Trump said that he and the Department of State "recognizes that Iran is not only a State Sponsor of Terrorism, but that the IRGC actively participates in, finances, and promotes terrorism as a tool of statecraft" and that the IGRC is the Iranian regime's "primary means of directing and implementing its global terrorist campaign."
