Professor Jacobson is not the only one who is "tuning out" sports and entertainment venues because of social justice warrior activism. It turns out millions of American are joining him. Sunday Night Football ratings plummeted the night of the #TakeAKnee protests.
In metered market numbers, the primetime matchup that saw the Washington Redskins beat the Oakland Raiders 27-10 snared an 11.6/20, the worst SNF has performed this season so far. It’s an 8% dip from the early numbers of last week’s game, Atlanta’s 34-23 win over Green Bay. Amid cheers and boos from fans at FedEx Field in Maryland last night, the third week of the SNF season declined 10% from early numbers of the comparable game of last year on September 25, 2016.

It seems like ancient history, but the original and replacement Travel Orders were meant to be temporary, to provide time for a security review. Those Orders were demagogued as "Muslim bans" when they clearly were not. They applied to the seven highest risk countries for terrorist visa infiltration as identified by the Obama Department of Homeland Security. What ensued were outrageous lower and appeals court decisions against the Travel Orders that read frequently like political manifestos.

For several years, anti-Israel activists have sought to hijack other causes in order to turn them against Israel. A key component of these hijackings is so-called "intersectionality," the concept that Israel is the unifying evil force in the world that ties together problems far distant from Israel, including alleged police brutality against and inequality among non-whites in the U.S. Israel thus serves the organizing purpose that Jews historically served in international conspiracy theories.

Asserting that they are "answering a call to confront and dismantle the white supremacist agenda in every community," a coalition of leftist groups is embarking on a 10-day march from Charlottesville to Washington D. C. Among their demands is the removal of President Trump from office and unspecified means of "confronting white supremacy throughout our history."  They also demand "an agenda that repairs the damage it's done to our country and its people." The Hill reports:
Activists are set to start a 10-day march from Charlottesville, Va., to Washington, D.C., on Monday to confront white supremacy and demand President Trump's removal from office.

Women's March group is at it again. This time they've decided to protest against the NRA, partially over an ad that features radio host Dana Loesch. Organizers of the group, which include Sharia-loving Linda Sarsour, claim the ad called "for armed conflict against our communities" and insulted people of color. Of course it didn't. The ad actually highlighted the rising violence the left has used lately. But that didn't stop the left from engaging in a smear campaign against Loesch, which Professor Jacobson described in this post.

Dana Loesch, a TV and talk show host who frequently appears in NRA videos, is the victim of a vicious smear campaign after she appeared in a video called "The Violence of Lies." The video was released on June 12 on the NRA Facebook page. The attacks on Loesch assert that Loesch's video calls for violence. But it doesn't. Just the opposite. It calls to meet the violence of leftist radicals with truth. What's actually going on is an attempt to deflect from the violence of a Bernie Sanders-loving, liberal Democrat who shot up a group of Republican congressmen at a baseball practice on June 14, and numerous other acts of "Resistance" violence. Loesch became the target of this smear campaign because her video was a convenient excuse to try to change the subject.

Claims of anti-Semitism are being made over actions yesterday by organizers of a "Dyke March" in Chicago to remove certain Jewish participants from the event because they carried a Jewish LGBT Pride Flag that had a Star of David in the Middle of a rainbow flag. The flag was alleged to be "triggering" to "pro-Palestinian" participants. I'll discuss the specifics below. Was it anti-Semitism? Objectively, yes.

If Dems were smart, they'd watch and learn from the opening segment of today's Morning Joe. In his item of last night, Prof. Jacobson noted how Dems were taking the wrong lesson from the election, claiming that a close loss was a win. The message from Morning Joe was starkly different. As Mark Halperin put it this morning, this was an "unmitigated disaster" for the Dems. Joe Scarborough said that "all the chips were pushed to the middle of the table here. This was a winner take all and it was a huge win for Republicans and a big loss for Democrats."

90s rock legend Courtney Love Cobain took Linda Sarsour, co-chair of the Women's March to the woodshed Wednesday. We've documented Sarsour's history of anti-Zionism, her love of Sharia law, and her attack on Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a victim of female genital mutilation. Love's disgust for Sarsour seems to stem from Sarsour's involvement with a Somali woman named Rahma Warsame. Sarsour, along with CAIR, allege Warsame was violently assaulted by a white man Saturday. They allege the man said, "you all will be shipped back to Africa" before beating Warsame, further claiming the man they believe responsible has a long history of making racially charged statements. Sarsour and CAIR have encouraged the investigation of the incident as a hate crime and are working to raise $100,000 for Warsame.

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) has reported that the village council of Burqa will not budge on their decision to name a women's center after terrorist Dalal Mughrabi. The UN lashed out at the center for glorifying a terrorist and Norway demanded a refund of its donations to the center, as we previously reported. According to PMW, village council head Sami Daghlas hails Mughrabi a hero. After all, she took part in a massacre that killed 37 people, including 12 children:
"The center has no intention of caving in to the pressure and change its name, the head of village's council, Sami Daghlas, said... He said the name Dalal Mughrabi was chosen by the villagers to commemorate a Palestinian hero (emphasis added, Ed.) who sacrificed herself for her country and therefore they have no intention to change its name regardless of the price."

*UPDATE* CNN has cut ties with Kathy Griffin. From USA Today:
"CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program," CNN spokesman Shimrit Sheetrit confirmed to USA TODAY in a statement Wednesday.
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) announced on CNN this morning that he will still participate in an event with Kathy Griffin, even after she posed with the bloody head of President Donald Trump. From CNN:
Franken cited Griffin's apology in explaining his decision. "Kathy's a friend and she's a terrific comedian, but this had no business being in our public discourse," Franken said. "And I talked to her. She has apologized -- a real, fulsome apology. She's actually begged for forgiveness, and I believe in forgiveness."

Has the world ended? The UN has actually lashed out at the Palestinian Authority after the Palestinian NGO "Women's Technical Affairs Committee" (WTAC) named a women's center after terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, a member of the Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Norway stepped in as well, demanding the PA refund money the country donated for the center and remove the country's name. Mughrabi led and participated in the 1978 Coastal Road Massacre. She and other terrorists "hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Road and killed 38 civilians, 13 of them children, and wounded over 70." The Palestinian Authority has a deep affection for the terrorist since it has named three schools and a computer center after her. It has even thrown birthday celebrations for her.

Unfortunately, I am not kidding when I say that the UN elected Saudi Arabia to the Women's Rights Commission. It reminds me of when the UN elected Iran to the human rights council. Remember that? Saudi Arabia received its spot when the Economic and Social Council voted on new members for the women's rights commission, which wants to help promote equality for females. The commission's website states that females "suffer violence and discrimination" and remain "under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes." Females around the world also "lack decent access to basic education and face occupational segregation and gender wage gaps." Too many countries still deny females "access to basic education and health care." Gee, what country falls into most of these categories? Saudi Arabia!

Salma Hayek and John Lithgow teamed up for the upcoming Beatriz at Dinner. Billed as a dark comedy, the preview looks more like a parody found on Saturday Night Live than an actual movie meant to be taken somewhat seriously. The plotline of the dramatic comedy has been described thusly:
