Billionaire and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has stirred up Democrat wrath by contemplating an independent 2020 run for president.  They and their #NeverTrump allies are ten kinds of not happy. Apparently, the left's latest attempts to dissuade Schultz from doing so will include tactics they've used repeatedly against Republicans: angry mobs confronting him anywhere and everywhere.

For once, something from anonymous sources came true! California Democrat Senator Kamala Harris has officially thrown her hat into the 2020 presidential race. She made the announcement on Good Morning America.

We now live in a world where questioning whether Chelsea Manning is truly a woman can get you deplatformed on social media for hate speech while the American Psychological Association sees traditional masculinity as a mental disorder. The APA just published a lengthy screed on the topic which reads as if it was compiled with assistance from a college symposium on intersectional feminism. I've tried to digest some of the most telling passages.

Social justice warriors used to be confined to college campuses, now their world view has been adopted by many elected officials.

As someone who attended and wrote about Tea Party protests in 2009 and 2010, it has been surreal to watch folks at CNN and MSNBC twist themselves into knots to defend the recent actions of the left. I clearly remember Democrats and their media allies using words like "dangerous" and "mob" to describe people who obtained protest permits and cleaned up their own trash. Everything is different now.
