Stacey Abrams Campaigning to be Biden’s Running Mate

Stacey Abrams Campaigning to be Biden’s Running Mate

“I would be an excellent running mate. I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities.”

https://youtu.be/FxNEIiwETFg

A little over a year ago, Stacey Abrams appeared on The View and dismissed the idea of being Joe Biden’s running mate, saying “You don’t run for second place.”

Today, that is precisely what she is doing.

Sam Dorman reports at FOX News:

Stacey Abrams touts herself as an ‘excellent running mate’ for Biden

Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams has said she would accept an offer to be former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate, telling Elle magazine she would be “excellent” for the position.

“Yes. I would be honored,” Abrams said. “I would be an excellent running mate. I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities. I have a strong history of executive and management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. I’ve spent 25 years in independent study of foreign policy. I am ready to help advance an agenda of restoring America’s place in the world. If I am selected, I am prepared and excited to serve.”

Abrams, the former minority leader in the Georgia House of Representatives, previously said she would be “honored” to be considered as a running mate for “any” Democratic nominee…

Abrams also praised Biden as a politician who seems to have a sincere interest in voters. “When you’re in politics, you learn the difference between those who simply tolerate others and those who genuinely love people,” she reportedly said. “As an introvert, I find it fascinating. His charming gregariousness isn’t just an affect.”

Her self confidence is something to behold, tweets below via Twitchy:

Independent study of foreign policy?

Abrams is likely on Biden’s short list for VP. Remember 2008, when Democrats cautioned that if McCain was elected, Sarah Palin would be one heartbeat away from the presidency? Good times.

Holy crap, you can’t get much more pathetic than that. Plus, hunter would never allow it. You never pick a vp who’s more, hummm, what’s the word, capable (?) than the candidate himself.

Democrats seem to love promoting failed candidates for Senate or Governor.

    Shallow bench.

Politicians often just can’t take no for an answer. Especially any position in DC. Why? Because they too want to be on the train to becoming quick millionaires like 98% of their predecessors. They just have to sell enough bags of chicken….feed… and promise enough free stuff, and they get the lucrative position with a golden parachute. Anymore, it doesn’t matter whether you’re one of 435 in the chambers or in most any WH support role, elected or not. Cha-ching!!!

Don’t count Andrew Gillum out yet.

He may be a bottom right now, OOPs I mean he may be at his bottom right now LOL

But Gillum represents today’s DEM party even better than Abrams, and I’m sure he would like to run too.

“I would be an excellent running mate. I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities.”

Translation: “my family needs the 6 figure consulting jobs they did so well in during my run for Georgia Governor.”

I can see her appeal to the insane and mentally unstable people.

Other than that, well, I think she comes up short. And fat.

What a combination. Loud-mouthed, brash, not easy on the eyes, incredibly opinionated (all in the extremely lefty direction), grifter-orientated, unaccomplished.

The reason you don’t get to see that every day is because the malls and downtown streets are currently closed.

Even old Joe would draw the line at giving her a hair-smelling test.

and those suffering from an extreme case of white guilt syndrome.

They’re made for each other!

Well, she’ll attract the type 2 constituency

I resent that. I have Type II Diabetes, and I’m 5’10”, and normally weigh around 190 pounds or so — and that’s mostly muscle, from working rough construction and, more recently, fast-paced factory work. Not only that, but only about a week ago I got weighed, and found that my weight is down to around 160 pounds. (I’ve been quite sick the past two months, particularly lacking appetite for maybe one month [I can go days without eating, and not really miss it]. I haven’t been this light for, oh, probably 28 years.) But I still have Type II Diabetes (though I have saved quite a bit on my grocery expenses).

However, as a White male of deep and unknown privilege, and probably guilty of numerous unintended microaggressions, I have no room to complain, even though I just did.

How exactly did you get type II with that? Extreme genetic predisposition or did you happen to ingest pancreas poison over time?

GitOffMahLawn | April 16, 2020 at 7:38 am

She forgot to add:

“Plus, I can eat 4 whole chickens (with sides) at one sitting.”

Also not mentioned:

“If necessary, I can serve as a viable interior offensive lineman for the Redskins if a satisfactory deal with Dan Snyder can be worked out.”

She heard they have a good spread at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Yup. No one EVER pays attention to minorities and women. Like, never dude.

“I’ve spent 25 years in independent study of foreign policy.”

Hilarious!
She makes a very good impression of an under qualified candidate at a job interview.

She’s perfect! How could anyone be perfecter than her?

Interviewed by the tampon earrings wearing nutcase….

We should demand corrupt slow Joe pick her.

This huckster lost by over 50,000 votes and ran around for years claiming she was robbed. Yet she never produced a single “disenfranchised” voter as evidence.

Sit down and shut up, Buckwheat.

I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities

and alienating everyone else.

Sounds like a plan… go for it!

Quick, name one other failed gubernatorial candidate without Googling it. Why is anyone giving her a microphone?

Grrr8 American | April 16, 2020 at 9:27 am

Did Joe B forget that he offered her the slot? 😉

In any case, I’m pretty confident that his handlers aren’t stupid enough to give it to Abrams.

IF Joe B actually makes it through the convention as nominee* I see too potential wildcard VP nominees — accompanied by a DNC plan that “sudden” health issues will require him to step down minutes after taking the oath of office (proverbially if not literally).

Those two wildcards are (in order): Michelle Obama or Oprah Winfrey. They get a diversity twofer, it “keeps” Biden’s promise for a “woman of color,” and both have name recognition and appeal. Oprah has more of the latter, and might be much less divisive that Michelle Obama — but put my money on the latter. The “wink and nod” will be she’ll be the figurehead and that this will be the third term for Obama — who can and will, among other things, crush any further investigations into the Deep State and his administration’s prior activities.

“In any case, I’m pretty confident that his handlers aren’t stupid enough to give it to Abrams.”

If Old Plugs chooses someone else, just watch how fast the “Racist” charge comes out.

Paul in reply to pfg. | April 16, 2020 at 10:01 am

The race card is only played against conservatives. Just like the “press” covers for Gropey’s senility, so too will they quash any charge of “racism.”

Abrams, the bovine pick for VP. Stacey needs to consider something truly radical, like getting A JOB.

She’s right about one thing, she does have capacity. I prefer “tubbage”.

Excellent choice! We would know Slow Joe’s campaign is over when she breaks into song! (Soon)

Years of independent study in foreign policy?……good grief, what does that even mean?

Close The Fed in reply to schafph. | April 16, 2020 at 12:17 pm

Well, she could have been reading books as Trump has. Trump once reeled off 20 books on China he had read to a reporter.

A lot of top spots throughout the Obama admin and executive branch were filled by people whose experience was mostly or entirely in academia (Samantha Power as a prime example) and look how well that turned out.

      p in reply to p. | April 16, 2020 at 2:29 pm

Addendum: So whether you’ve independently studied it or been immersed in it at an academic level, it ain’t like the real thing.

Let’s be honest: she probably exceeds obama in her knowledge of foreign affairs, compares to what he knew coming in. Not hard to do, is it?

Usually publicly running around proclaiming, “Yoo-hoo! Pick me! Pick me!” doesn’t work when it comes to being chosen as a VP candidate, no matter how humble you try to appear while doing so.

The real question is will she step down from being Governor of Georgia to run?

Well, in her mind.

Massinsanity | April 16, 2020 at 9:57 am

“You don’t run for second place.”

She knows it’s not second place because should he win, Biden won’t last more than 6 months in office before his senility forces a change.

buckeyeminuteman | April 16, 2020 at 10:09 am

Why would you pick someone to run with who can’t win their own election?

Biden’s “charming gregariousness??” Well, maybe not all that charming to the recipients.

Vile Abrams is so manifestly and pathologically narcissistic, she makes the previous record-holder for narcissism, the perpetually self-reverential Obama, look like the most humble man alive. She is a transparent apparatchik totalitarian.

This is why I submit that Abrams resembles nothing so much as the offspring of intercourse between Idi Amin and Hillary Clinton.

Abrams is yet another empty-suit, empty-vessel narcissist who has accomplished absolutely nothing of substance in life, in the private sector, or, outside of it. Just like Obama, Occasional-Cortex, and the rest of them. Yet, the Dhimmi-crat media lackeys and propagandists are not toiling overtime, working to turn her into some sort of allegedly sagacious and impressive figure. This is laughable.

Look, fat…

Wow — “25 years in ‘independent’ study of foreign policy.”

That sure sounds impressive! I’m sold.

Yet, just like dim-witted Joe Biden, if Abrams had been President, she no doubt would have rejected a China travel ban, as allegedly “racist.” Self-congratulatory virtue-signaling stunts matter more to the Dhimmi-crats than common-sense measures taken in defense of the homeland and the American people.

Abrams self-perceived, main “qualifications” for high national office seem to be that she 1) possesses a vagina; and, 2) features dark skin pigmentation.

If I ever ran for office, I don’t think I would cut and paste my LinkedIn profile into the campaign literature.

Spacey Abrams

Stacey Abrams: “If becoming president weren’t my destiny, I would slap the smug right out of you.”

Biden: [giggles] “You had me at ‘slap’.”

Someone needs to explain to her that breakfast at International House of Pancakes is not study. No matter how difficult it is read the menu.

Close The Fed | April 16, 2020 at 12:21 pm

Aside from all the other reasons, I dislike that she rejected the idea last year.

Now, she’s totes coool with it.

What’s up with that, Stacey?

Grrr8 American | April 16, 2020 at 12:29 pm

An addition to Abrams’ quote in order to make it accurate:

“I would be an excellent running mate. I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored, err, I mean ignorant communities.”

Where be the buffet at?

(Snort) They deserve each other.

texansamurai | April 16, 2020 at 4:11 pm

abrams? that pig won’t hunt

If I wasn’t sold on her before, I am now that she said she’s an “introvert”.

Actually, if she’s an introvert, I’m switching to extrovert. 😉

I think somebody here said it first, but damn she looks like Proposition Joe from The Wire in drag. I think I’d rather fuck Prop Joe, at least he’d get me real high first.

Go see a dentist. Do yourself a favor…oh…and layoff Golden Corral.

Has she paid off her outstanding debt? Last time I even bothered reading about the fat ugly b witch she was 40 grand in debt.
Of course that’s a positive on a democrat resume.

Her and the Penetrator can go on the straight racebaiting ticket

Ah yes, another perpetual victim of the man.

To gaslight; “manipulate (someone) by psychological means into questioning their own sanity.”

This person appears to be gaslighting herself.

Stacy Abrams, in her own words:

Philip in reply to Philip. | April 17, 2020 at 11:09 am

Looks like I mistakenly clicked on the ‘thumbs down’ icon in an attempt to ‘reply’ to my own post.

Thousands of business owners and corporate executives hear what Abrams said in public and they realize now that they have to again hire a marketing company/public relations firm to show the masses that they are doing the right thing, AND making a profit, even though they heard an economically illiterate politician tell them differently while pandering to a group of like-minded economic illiterates.

Stacy Abrams’ summarized democrat response to President Donald Trump’s 2019 SUTU address to the nation, which emphasizes how her loss in November 2018 is a blessing to the great state of Georgia and in fact to this great nation, is as follows:
“The shutdown was a stunt engineered by the president of the United States,..”
“This administration cages children,” she said.
Abrams charged the White House with responding inadequately to school shootings and the rising costs of college tuition.
She said the Republican tax reform legislation Trump steered through a GOP-controlled Congress late in 2017 “rigged the system against working people.”
“Voter suppression is clear, from making it harder to register to vote to moving voting places,” she said. “We can no longer ignore these threats to democracy.”

I read that Elle article. Mercy, need a hot shower now.

Stacy Abrams recently stated: “Combined, they represent 33,507 ballots entirely ignored by the Secretary of State office.”
See, when you lie like that Stacy, people who might be inclined to respect you for your desire to serve could just as easily view you as just another hyper-partisan, dishonest politician. Candidate Brian Kemp received 54,723 more valid votes than his democrat opponent (that would be Stacy Abrams). The ballots that she appears to value so much, even if they all were legitimate and for the democrat candidate, would not have changed the outcome. They were not ignored, “entirely” or otherwise.

Here, this should make your weekend (Jake and Elwood visit a diner):

Since the job of a VP consumes much time, we can dispense of those who spend most of their day grazing at McDonalds.

They would make a handsome pair–the senile and an Obama gone to blubber.
