Biden Iran Tag

A spy ship linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) suffered an explosion in the Red Sea, the Iranian state media confirmed on Wednesday. The vessel, which was acting as a base for the IRGC, went up in flames as explosive mines hit its hull, the Iranian state-run TV reported.

Iran has refused President Joe Biden's proposal to end the nuclear enrichment in return for further easing of sanctions. The move is part of the Biden administration's effort to start talks with Iran to restore the Obama-era nuclear arrangement.

Last month Iran turned down Biden's offer to enter into nuclear talks even as the White House rolled back some major international sanctions on the regime. His administration revoked the enforcement of the U.N. sanctions and weapons embargo on Tehran, reversing a decision taken by President Donald Trump.

While President Joe Biden's administration looks forward to diplomatic talks with China and Iran, both regimes have started to build ballistic missile facilities.

Chinese nuclear-armed ballistic missiles are not only capable of hitting anywhere in the world, but they can also target satellites and space assets in the earth's orbit. Iran, aided by Russian, Chinese, and North Korean technology, can strike western Europe.

The Israeli government has confirmed Iranian involvement in the massive oil spill that hit its coast last month. "Now we see Iran is not just terrorizing [Israel] with [attempts at attaining] nuclear weapons and entrenching itself in our region, but also by harming the environment," Israel's Environment Minister Gila Gamliel said on Wednesday.

Iranian authorities use electric shocks on gay, lesbian, and transgender children, along with other forms of torture, as a way to "cure" their sexual orientation, a new United Nations report disclosed.

The disclosure comes as President Biden's administration decided to go easy on Iran's bloody human right record. The Biden staffers have been "silent on Iran’s rights record" as they hope to engage the regime on the nuclear issue, the Voice of America observed recently.

United Nations inspectors have found new evidence that "Iran has undertaken work on nuclear weapons," the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday. The UN nuclear watchdog, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), found traces of radioactive material at Iranian nuclear sites, indicating that the regime is secretly building a nuclear bomb, the report suggests.
