Israel Believes Biden Just Weeks Away From Signing New Iran Nuclear Deal

Senior Israeli official: “We will not be surprised if within weeks the US and other world powers sign a deal with Iran.”

Israeli officials believe that President Joe Biden may be just weeks away from inking a new nuclear deal with Iran. Jerusalem “will not be surprised if within weeks the US and other world powers sign a deal with Iran,” an Israeli official told media.

The Biden administration is currently engaged in European Union-mediated talks with Iran to restore the Obama-era nuclear deal. The White House has already made major concessions to Tehran, including sanctions relief, revoking enforcement of the U.N. weapons embargo, and removing the terrorist designation of an Iranian-backed Yemeni jihadi group.

The Times of Israel reported Israeli officials’ comments:

Israeli officials on Sunday night expressed concern that the Biden administration will rush to rejoin the nuclear deal with Iran, arguing that Washington’s negotiating power is compromised by its eagerness to clinch a pact.

“Both sides, the Americans and the Iranians, want a deal. The Iranians smell that the Americans want an agreement at any price,” an official told Channel 12 on condition of anonymity, following a top-level security cabinet meeting on the issue.

“The outcome is known from the start — a return to the Iran deal with amendments,” the official added.

The official said such a deal, in the long term, “will restrict Israel’s freedom of movement. It’s very troubling.”

Another senior Israeli official told the Axios site that they feared a deal could come very soon. “We will not be surprised if within weeks the US and other world powers sign a deal with Iran.”

As the Biden administration spares no effort in appeasing and cajoling Iran to restore the 2015 nuclear pact, the rogue regime has renewed threats to destroy Israel.

Major General Hossein Salami, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the regime’s military wing, declared that the Jewish State would soon “disappear” from the map. At the same time, he boasted of the regime’s support for Hezbollah and other Palestinian terrorist groups at a public event, Israeli media reported on Monday.

The threats made by the IRGC chief were not limited to the Jewish State alone. “The annihilation of all the devils of the world who stand against Islam will continue,” Salami added.

The destruction of Israel is a stated policy of the Iranian regime as it advances its nuclear weapons program. Last May, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s called Israel a “cancerous tumor” in the region that “will undoubtedly be uprooted and destroyed.”

Israeli broadcaster Arutz Sheva reported IRGC chief’s threats:

The commander-in-chief of the Iranian military said Israel would soon “disappear”, while touting Iran’s efforts to bolster the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s “plan to defeat the Zionist regime”.

Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, addressed mourners at the funeral of Mohammed Hejazi, deputy commander of the Quds Force, Monday morning. [IRGC Quds Force] Brigadier General Hejazi died Sunday of a “heart condition” the Iranian military said, without providing additional details.

“Together with our Hezbollah brothers, [Hejazi] laid the groundwork for destroying the rotten Zionist regime.”

Salami warned Israel not to celebrate Hejazi’s death, saying the Jewish state would soon “disappear”, wiped away by “nation you expelled”. (…)

“Do not be happy, we will continue on our way and no one will leave this front and the trenches are always full of men who do not have armor behind them and swords have been drawn from the hands of the youth of the Islamic nation. The annihilation of all the devils of the world who stand against Islam will continue.”

Alarmed by Biden’s push to restore the Obama-era deal, notable Israelis belonging to the country’s defense and national security community signed a joint plea urging the White House to reconsider its policy.

The Washington Free Beacon published the excerpts of the letter addressed to the Biden White House:

A group of more than 2,000 former high-ranking Israeli military, law enforcement, and intelligence community officials are warning the Biden administration against inking a new nuclear deal with Iran, saying the rush to negotiate with Iran directly endangers Israel and its newfound Arab allies.

The letter, penned by Israel’s Defense & Security Forum, or Habithonistim, is the clearest sign to date that Israel and its Arab allies in the region are united in opposition to the Biden administration’s efforts to rejoin the 2015 nuclear accord, which they view as fundamentally flawed and an immediate threat to regional stability. In addition to Israel, leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia have expressed concerns about America’s diplomacy with Iran and efforts to unwind sanctions that have brought the Islamic Republic to the brink of collapse.

“We are troubled that the Biden administration and a handful of European countries are promoting a return to the Iran deal while disregarding the concerns of those closest to Iran, most vulnerable to Iran, and most knowledgeable about Iran,” the officials write in a letter obtained exclusively by the Washington Free Beacon. “The Iranian regime explicitly and publicly seeks the destruction of our country and the toppling of governments of the Arab countries with whom we have made peace. Preventing Iran from obtaining the capability to build deliverable nuclear weapons and confronting the regime’s malign activities are essential to preventing catastrophe.”

While the Biden White House offers the Iranian regime relief from sanctions imposed under the Trump era, Tehran is ramping up enriched uranium, the key ingredient needed for a nuclear bomb.

Biden’s appeasement of the regime forces Israel to act unilaterally against the existential threat of a nuclear Iran.

“An agreement with Iran that will pave the way for nuclear weapons — weapons that threaten us with destruction — we will not be obligated to such an agreement in any way.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said while marking the Holocaust Remembrance Day last Wednesday.

Last weekend’s attack on a top Iranian nuclear weapons site may have been one such attempt to derail Iran’s nuclear weapons program. The regime was using the secured underground facility in Natanz to enrich near-weapons-grade uranium.

Trump’s style: Negotiate. Cajole. Threaten. Negotiate.

Biden’s style: Write a BIG check.

DEM BASE DOESN’T CARE WHAT ISRAELI’S THINK

>> They are too caught up with the Woke agenda of BDS.

Biden considers Wokeness to be more important than geopolitics.

Million’s of Americans, Jews included, have gotten sucked into the Democrat whirlpool. When will people wake UP ? This is not the Dem Party of the past. The Zombie Democrats have taken over. They want to eat everyone’s brain and keep the body only so it can vote to perpetuate their rule.

And, the DEM base that is Jewish, doesn’t care about Israel.

I was discussing this with a liberal Jewish friend. I asked, “R, why is it American Jews vote 70% Democratic, when Dems are the worse enemy Israel has?” She said, “Mike, two things One, American Jews are liberals first, Jews second. And two, for American Jews, Israel is not the concern you think it would be. They are concerned about it, but not like you would believe.”

      Very enlightening conversation.

We’re back to Obama’s “leading while taking it up the behind” again I see.

Iran is the cancer.

Iran needs to be destroyed now, nuke major cities, and all known Iranian nuclear facilities. Destroy their air force, all of their high tension grid, hydro and water reservoirs. Sever all their Internet connections.

Then they could live like Mohamad, short brutal lives.

Biden is dying to sign a deal with Iran. That’s why they were dancing in the streets in Iran when Biden “won” the election. We are back to the peace through weakness, appeasement and surrender policies of the Obama admin. Iran will continue to work overtime on their nuclear program no matter what.

Could Iran spare a nuke to gift to Biden while he is in DC? Heck… why doesn’t Biden give them a bomb and get it over with. In the eventual confrontation between Iran and Israel, let me guess which side Biden will be on? The Dems just want Iran to have the nuke to force Israel to the table with the “palestinians”. So blind…

Good. Let Israel take them out, since we’re now Iran’s bi-itches again.

Total capitulation to the genocide-aspiring, terrorism-sponsoring Iranian despots. Just like Obama’s farcical and despicable appeasement exercise, laughably and fallacious termed a “deal.” What an utter shame and disgrace, but, entirely predictable behavior, from the Dhimmi-crats, who never met a Muslim terrorist or a despot that they didn’t want to embrace.

Yes sir may I have another Mr. Ayatollah?

Biden only weeks away from starting a war in the Middle East.

It’s amazing the difference a weak American President makes.

Q: What’s the difference between a cell block b*tch and Joe Biden?
A: The cell block b*tch has enough self-respect to demand a candy bar up-front before lubing up and rolling over.

Well Israel, why not do what you do best?

This iteration of the Obama administration is still filled with anti-semites who would rather see Israel obliterated for foiling their plans for their notion of “Middle East Peace” (i.e. a 2 state solution with Israel having indefensible boundaries and allowing a “return” of the “refugees” who the Arab countries encouraged to flee in 1948-49).
