What happens to every rubric of U. S. economic, national security, and social policy when a key demographic is revealed to be not only wildly wrong but is doubled?  We’re about to find out. A new study released by Yale University and MIT reveals that the previously accepted number of illegal aliens in the U.S. represents only half the actual number.

Anyone still claiming that #MeToo is anything other than a political weapon is either hopelessly naive or happily—and selectively—wielding it to mow down political foes while ignoring #MeToo allegations against their political friends. Case in point: the frenzy surrounding a single decades-old allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has attracted the attention of every #MeToo figure on the planet, yet these same people are surprisingly uninterested in the allegations of long-standing domestic abuse against Keith Ellison.

Despite her claims to the contrary, Elizabeth Warren certainly seems to be laying the groundwork for a presidential run. But, if her constituents are a bellwether, Warren's time on the national stage could be short-lived.

As much as we complain about political correctness in the United States, it seems things are much worse in Europe. Marine Le Pen, who is frequently described in media reports as far right, recently shared some images on Twitter of people who had been slaughtered by ISIS. Now she is being ordered to see a psychiatrist.

President Donald Trump will go on a Twitter tirade in 3...2...1... The New York Times reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensetin, the man who hired Special Counsel Robert Mueller, offered to wear a wire to tape Trump and rally "cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office for being unfit." He suggested that he could bring Attorney General Jeff Sessions and then-DHS Secretary John Kelly to his side. Kelly now serves as Trump's chief of staff.

This is not exactly shocking, but at least there is proof of it. The Daily Caller received emails and text messages from the special counsel's office that show Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has a pretty close relationship with the press. The Daily Caller reported:
The documents, released in September, span months of communication and include messages from reporters ranging from a variety of outlets, including TheDCNF, The Washington Post and BuzzFeed.

Islamist groups in Britain are "weaponizing" Islamophobia to silence legitimate criticism of Radical Islam, the country's counter-extremism tsar warned. The UK-based Muslim extremist groups "and their sympathisers weaponise Islamophobia in an attempt to shut down legitimate debate about Islamic extremism while undermining the general struggle against anti-Muslim hatred," Sara Khan, head of the UK Commission for Countering Extremism, said.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley gave Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, until 10AM ET to decide if she will testify on Monday. Ford's team handed out the terms for her testimony late Thursday night and I doubt it will sit well. First of all, she won't do it on Monday and she still wants an FBI probe. Now the Senate Republicans have given Ford a counteroffer with a hearing on Wednesday.

Many political analysts are singling out Joe Biden as the best hope Democrats have for beating Trump in 2020. They point to his supposed connection to working class voters and his gravitas as a former Vice President. Grass roots members of the party, on the other hand, aren't sold.
