Back at the height of the global warming craze in 2009, before leftists rebranded it "climate change," supposed experts predicted all the glaciers in Montana would disappear by 2020.
Daniel Fagre, a U.S. Geological Survey ecologist, warns that glaciers may be melting at an even faster rate than originally predicted, according to National Geographic. Fagre has been conducting research in the national park since the early 1980s.

Glenn Reynolds launched Instapundit in August 2001, which laid a key foundation stone down for the publication and dissemination of independent conservative news and opinion over the past 18 years. "Instalanches" have blessed Legal Insurrection with many links. Over the past 18 years, Reynolds has observed the deterioration of social media and shared his observations and experiences in a new publication: The Social Media Upheaval. I recently urged readers to approach reports of a purge of North Korean officials associated with the Hanoi Summit with the U.S. that ended abruptly with skepticism. Now it appears that everyone should take the cautious approach since the media reported Kim Jong-un sent one of the high ranking diplomats involved in the summit to a labor camp, but pictures show him enjoying himself at a North Korean theater....along with the Dear Leader.

The last time we visited Los Angeles in our posts, a local TV investigative team reported that the city wastes tens of millions of dollars per year in clean-up efforts because LA’s homeless encampments quickly repopulate once cleaning ends. The rat population has exploded as a result of garbage accumulation, and a Los Angeles police officer has now shown symptoms of the flea-borne disease typhus spread by rats.

As measles cases in the country rise to the highest level in over two decades, health officials have weighed a travel ban that would prohibit those believed infected with the disease from flying.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 60 new individual instances of measles in Monday’s update, bringing this year’s tally to 940. It's the largest total since 1994, falling just short of the 963 cases reported that year. Efforts to fight off a disease that has spread to 26 states have led state and local officials to consider requesting the imposition of a rarely used travel ban on infectious passengers, The Washington Post reported.

After celebrating the win of the "Australia First" Liberal Party, and cheering on the milkshake-covered Brexit candidates in Great Britain, it pleases me greatly to report that anti-EU parties made significant gains in Sunday’s European election. After processing the results, I have several essential takeaways. Perhaps the most significant that the win for the anti-EU parties is a hard loss for the centrists who want to run the entire world from Brussels.

CrossFit, the popular fitness and lifestyle program, terminated its relationship with Facebook and Instagram, citing security and privacy concerns.

We have followed the public health crisis is Los Angeles closely, as the homeless population explosion has led to conditions ripe for an outbreak of the disease typhus.
