The protests outside of President Donald Trump's Minnesota rally took a violent turn as supporters left the Target Center. I guess the supporters triggered the anti-Trump people just by their presence because they then burned Trump memorabilia like the MAGA hats, confronted the police, and threw urine.

Michael Drejka, the Florida man who shot and killed Markeis McGlockton after being physically attacked by McGlockton in a dispute over a handicap parking spot, was sentenced yesterday to 20 years in prison. He was convicted in August of manslaughter.

Joe Biden has come a long way from being the uncontested frontrunner. He jumped into the presidential race in late April, already leading by double digits. He was ahead by comfortable margins through most of the summer, except the two weeks where Sen. Kamala Harris looked like she might catch up with him after the first debate. But things have changed.

On August 13, 2019, we wrote about an extraordinary Amicus Brief filed by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) on behalf of himself and several other Democrat Senators. The Brief was extraordinary because it threatened the Justices with a potential restructuring of the Court if the Justices didn't dismiss as "moot" the first big 2nd Amendment case the Court has taken in a decade. The Brief was panned by right, left, and center as a thinly-veiled and inappropriate threat.

This week, I reviewed the climate alarmist protest organized by "Extinction Rebellion," whose members want us to drastically reduce our use of electricity and other resources. These green justice warriors should head over to California where we are living the dream! In an effort to avoid another devastating spate of autumn wildfires (such as last year's Paradise fire), approximately 800,000 Pacific Gas and Electric customers are preparing for the company to intentionally cut their power. This is likely the largest deliberate power shut-off in state history.
