A few months ago, Democrats had a commanding lead in a number of polls and talks of a Blue Wave had the GOP rattled. But a lot has happened these few months. A series of missteps, unforced errors, and flat out embarrassments and three weeks before the midterm elections, polls are skewing red.

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas caught incumbent Missouri Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill expressing her strict gun control views, which she usually conceals in order to court moderate voters. To make matters worse, the Project Veritas journalist caught staffers on tape admitting that McCaskill hides her real views on guns in order to receive votes. The suspect, identified as a Syrian asylum seeker, sustained several gunshot wounds during the rescue operation.
