Democrats are beginning to worry that Vice President Kamala Harris could hurt their chances to retain power in the 2022 midterm elections. This was entirely foreseeable. Harris was so unpopular in her party that she dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary before anyone voted.

Democrats know their time is limited. The 2022 midterms are fast-approaching, and Republicans are likely to recapture the House, the Senate, or both. This is why Democrats are trying to cram as much as possible into every bill on the table. Their massive budget bill even includes amnesty for illegals.

Democrats are on a mission to abolish the filibuster, which they see as an obstacle to unfettered power. In their effort to turn the public against the filibuster, they are suddenly calling it racist and a relic of the Jim Crow past. If that's true, why did they use it against Senator Tim Scott's police reform bill just last spring?

When some Republicans objected to the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, Democrats called it a threat to democracy. Woke corporations fell in line and shut off donations to the GOP. Now that Democrats are trying to overturn a certified House race in Iowa, Mitch McConnell and Republicans in the Senate are demanding an equal reaction.

Though Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema is not a Republican, she’s shown an independent streak during her time in the Senate, letting Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer know on more than one occasion that she will play by her own rules and not necessarily her party's when it comes to making policy decisions for the people of her state.
