During an interview on MSNBC, Democrat Rep. and "squad" member Ayanna Pressley suggested the public target GOP officials who are continue to "carry water" for the Trump administration and further suggested "there should be unrest in the streets as long as there's unrest in our lives." Is that not literally incitement?

Protesters and rioters in Seattle are in the news all the time. One group of people in Seattle who get hardly any attention are the people trying to run businesses in the city. They are deeply concerned about the efforts to defund the police. Some of them are even leaving the city.

The city of Minneapolis is requiring businesses destroyed by the recent riots to pre-pay their 2020 property taxes before they can even officially demolish and rebuild their businesses. The city allowed these businesses to be destroyed, and now wants a ransom from the very people they victimized. When do the business owners start rioting, or at the very least, packing up and leaving?

My heart breaks for the families who were under lockdown as rioters broke windows and doors of the Chicago Ronald McDonald House. They are only there because they have a child in intensive care. To deal with that on top of it all? Unimaginable.

Gun sales are way up, across the country, for obvious reasons. The numbers began to rise with the Coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, and only grew as riots began in multiple cities at the beginning of the summer. Now imagine being someone who lives in one of these riot torn cities, where your Democrat leaders are trying to defund the police, and learning that it's going to be difficult to arm yourself.

Every time I hear "progressive" these days, I kind of laugh a little inside.  Is there anything less progressive than a backwards-looking ideology that embraces the worst of the twentieth century? Today's "progressives" love the 1930s and the 1960s best of all, but any dated, last century communist revolutionary antic is apparently on the table.

The silence from Democrats over the left-wing violence unfolding in American cities like Portland is deafening. To make matters worse, when they do finally speak up, their words are an insult to our intelligence. Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), who pushed the Russia hoax for three years, was recently asked about Antifa violence in Portland, and said with a straight face that it's a "myth."
