Kamala Harris has a habit of launching into peals of laughter when she is asked questions, even serious ones. It's likely a nervous tic, and it's possible that she doesn't even realize that she does it. In the world of gambling, this is called a tell. An unconscious and often uncontrollable behavior that serves as a clue to others that a player is bluffing or lying.

If you watched the vice presidential debate this week, you may have noticed that Kamala Harris often seemed agitated and nervous. This presented itself physically in her facial expressions, nervous laughter, and attitude. According to pollster and analyst Frank Luntz, this did not go over well with the undecided voters in his focus group.

Kamala Harris tried to school Vice President Mike Pence to defend the Democrats' fight not to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Harris avoided Pence's question about Joe Biden, and the Democrats wish to pack the court and incorrectly explained why President Abe Lincoln didn't fill a vacancy 27 days before the election.

Democrats were clearly hoping the Obama voter coalition of 2008 and 2012 would show up for Joe Biden in 2020. This strategy became apparent during the South Carolina primary in June. Black voters carried Biden over the finish line and almost all the other candidates immediately dropped out of the race. It's not clear this method is going to work in November.
