Did Kamala Harris Read Statement Remotely by Teleprompter for Barrett Hearing?

It’s painfully obvious.

https://twitter.com/CalebJHull/status/1315702688588410880

It looked like Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) delivered her opening statement for Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s hearing remotely using a teleprompter.

It made the delivery even more awkward, especially since it’s hard not to follow her eyes.

I mean…it’s so painful.

Harris claimed she wanted to attend remotely because of COVID risks. But did she do it so she could use the teleprompter?

I wouldn’t put it past her. Her statement contained the usual talking points: This is all a sham, Republicans want to strip away healthcare, they want to undo RBG’s legacy, blah blah blah.

I agree with Josh.

The Washington kabuki theater has always relied on cue cards and notes but now these people are so vapid that they need to read a script to us. How dumb are our “leaders”?

The hard question is: How dumb are we to put people like this in any kind of decision-making position?

Is it really true that truly competent, productive people avoid political positions because of all the useless and vapid things they would need to do to look like they are doing something when it is obvious they are actually doing nothing. Where else would “really trying real hard” (but accomplishing nothing) be equated with actually doing what you set out to do?

Remember when Il Duce Pelosi said we had to pass Obamacare to know what is in it? It is as simple as this, Congress do not write the bills. Lobbyists write them in their entirety, then buy the sponsor of the bill with “donations”.

The majority of Congress is a fraud.

Harris among the worst of these. Of course she holds no principles dear to her, other than herself, and elevating her power. She doesn’t answer questions, neither does Biden, because they aren’t sure what they are being paid to stand for.

It’s pay for play on the grand scheme level.

Think every one of these congress critters got so wealthy from just insider trading on things they sponsor so they can cash in from Wall Street? Our country has been sold out to Lobbyists, no matter what they really stand for. And China is a huge source of money, particularly for the leftists.

We, she’s gonna need the practice if the Dems win the presidency.
Maybe they wanted to dry run using a teleprompter setup so that they can use it for Joe if Trump suddenly changes his mind about a remote debate.

A teleprompter? How is that even possible? She’s a PROSECUTOR! ???

no one ever accused her of being one of the best and brightest of G*d’s little house plants…

which is why she had to sleep her way into politics, and, after that, lie about who she is.

I, insert your name here, strongly object to Amy Coney Barrett because…

they want to undo RBG’s legacy

Strange notion of the proper role of the Court.

RGB was an Associate Justice for life, but not a day longer.

As was wisely stated in a recent opinion, “Judges are appointed for life not eternity.” Insofar as how good of a justice RBG was depends on what side of the jurisprudential fence you sit on. I find her approach to law abominable. In deference I thought Scalia was a little liberal and believe the only clear head on the bench is Clarence Thomas.

Have to say this, even though I hate it: She’s being Palin’d. The Biden Administration In Waiting is writing her every word, specifying where she goes, what she says, how she dresses, every single thing they can control in order to keep the focus on Joe Biden, the Savior of the Downtrodden and Perfectly Healthy Individual Who Will Be President All The Way Through His Term, Honest.

It’s more fake than cheap cheese.

Make no mistake, the only chance she ever had, given the horrible response she had to her campaign, is to pretend to be all things to everybody. She is worse than Obama as far as Manchurian Candidates go.

She has no principles. It’s easy to do as the handlers want when you know it will lead to big bucks in the bank.

She even squints every once in a while and not a lot of blinking.

I didn’t think it was possible but Kamala actually did worse than her debate fiasco.

She’s reading by the Look-Say Method aka Whole Words which is notable for its inability to teach kids how to read.

Look at the photo behind Harris. Is that the little girl who could not go to a integrated school because mean old Jim Crow Joe Biden and his segregationist Senate pals opposed busing? Poor thing.

Not just the Requisite Photo of a Designated Talking Point, but *two* American flags, and a California flag. No wonder she couldn’t make the walk down the hallway to the committee room, with that many theatrical props to carry.

    “opposed busing”

Unfortunately, busing cannot fix crappy parents. It destroyed cities, good parents packed, and took their kids away.

She’s not the brightest crayon in the box.

Interesting how the left only seem to care about the flag as a prop during elections, then can’t get away from them fast enough after they secured their pay day.

Was this a rhetorical question?

Of course, Hoho Harris was reading from a teleprompter. I dislike her bigly, but so what. Those attending the hearings in person read their open remarks from paper pages. Again, so what, big deal. What difference, at any point in time, does it make? ACB read her prepared opening comments from paper pages. Why should this be a subject of discussion?

I don’t find it unusual that she is reading a prepared speech.
Grassley obviously was reading a prepared speech, and many others probably were too.

But I do find itannoyiung that she felt it was necessary to pretend she wasn’t reading a speech.

She’s a whore for hire.
It’s that simple.

A truly great public speaker! sarc. ROTFLMAO at this performance on her part. But wait till she gets to slash and grab without a script.

But we shouldn’t be too hard on her. Listening to Senator Grassley read his remarks from a text in front of him was like watching paint dry.

I am glad that someone else agrees with me about the somnolent qualities of the Hon. Sen. Grassley. By the way is there anybody else out there that would like to toss both of the Senators from Delaware out of the back of a C-130?

Did Kamala Harris Read Statement Remotely by Teleprompter?
Put in the vernacular that even she can understand:
Does a hobby horse have a hickory dick?

Separate and apart from a question of whether Kamala is like a badly programmed autoresponder “I am away from my desk right now and will get back to you after the election.”

What is wrong with an autoresponder reading a teleprompter?

Why would she go to all that bother when she could just ad-lib from notes?

Nothing shouts “Who’s programming you” like obvious teleprompter reading.

This is a highly rated “PARROT” squawking the Party Line who might one day have her finger on the “Big Red Button”!!!!!
