A new poll released by Gallup shows that for the first time in over a decade, Democrats are more passionate about socialism, viewing it more positively than capitalism.

After a Pew Survey in January 2018 showed a weakening support for Israel among Democrats, particularly liberal Democrats, there was much gnashing of teeth in the pro-Israel community.

Pew Research released a survey today showing, in Pew’s words:

The partisan divide in Middle East sympathies, for Israel or the Palestinians, is now wider than at any point since 1978. Currently, 79% of Republicans say they sympathize more with Israel than the Palestinians, compared with just 27% of Democrats.

More Gallup data confirms American public’s overwhelming Israel support

A few days ago I wrote about the latest Gallup polling as to whether Americans sympathized more with Israel or the Palestinians.

Consistent with prior years, Americans overwhelmingly favor Israel by more than a 3-1 margin, while Bibi Netanyahu’s popularity has soared, Gallup: Americans still LOVE Israel a lot, Netanyahu popularity soars.
