Two new cases of measles reported in the country last week turned out not to be measles. This shows that health authorities may yet get control of the worst outbreak of the highly contagious disease in the US since 1992. However, if more cases pop up, America may lose its "measles-free" status.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also determined that two previously reported cases of the disease were not in fact measles, keeping the total number of cases for the year at 1,241 as of Sept. 12.

This may be a sign that the lower tier 2020 Democratic presidential candidates should drop out. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced the criteria for the fifth debate in November. Key point: We still do not know the date of the November debate or where it will take place.

The way to not get people to your side is disrupting their daily routine, especially in an already traffic-congested place like Washington, DC. The #ShutDownDC rally caused even more traffic jams in DC, including holding up emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks. Some videos show people throwing glitter and confetti because we all know they do not practice what they preach.

I'm so old I remember when "knife control" was a joke and not a thing that was under serious consideration. Church of England leaders in the Diocese of Rochester have joined forces with "leading crime experts, as well as MPs, and community leaders," in a letter asking the government to consider banning pointed kitchen knives.

President Donald Trump joined Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a massive rally at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday. Around 50,000 Indian Americans attended the "Howdy Modi!" event. "I'm so thrilled to be here in Texas with one of America's greatest, most devoted and most loyal friends, Prime Minister Modi of India," President Trump told a roaring crowd.
