Yikes. The August jobs report is less than stellar as the economy only added 130,000 jobs in the month. To make matters worse, a lot of those jobs were temporary jobs for the 2020 census. But one jobs report should not cause a freakout. Unemployment remains at 3.7% while reports from earlier this week showed consumer spending continues to climb.

In case you guys forgot, former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz had thoughts about running for president in 2020 as an independent. Schultz announced this morning he has abandoned those plans because "an independent campaign for the White House is not how I can best serve our country at this time." In other words, he knew it would waste his time and money because he would go nowhere.

Once again, the same media types who got the 2016 election completely wrong, and failed to challenge the Obama administration for eight years, are fact-checking Trump into oblivion. Every perceived Trump mistake is treated with pettiness that borders on vindictive. They are completely unable to admit it when they're proven wrong.

A woman named Chella Phillips of the Bahamas is being praised for her efforts to save dogs during Hurricane Dorian. She took almost a hundred canines into her home during the storm, and now she is being rewarded with donations.

In politics as in all things, glory can be fleeting. After the first Democratic debate in late June, the MSM and liberal political commentators treated Sen. Kamala Harris (CA) like the invincible presidential candidate. Her polling numbers rose significantly after she broadsided frontrunner Joe Biden in the opening round. She also saw a nice boost in fundraising. But the last two months have seen the Harris campaign endure an embarrassing freefall. Her polling numbers have tanked, she's lost a significant amount of support from key Democratic voting blocs, and was on the receiving end of a brutal smackdown from Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI) at the second debate over her troubling criminal justice record.

Actor Isaiah Washington spoke to Fox Nation's Tyrus about his decision to leave the Democratic Party. Washington noted that Democratic politicians have not done enough for America or the black community. He praised President Donald Trump's support for the First Step Act, which provides "deserving prisoners the opportunity to get a shortened sentence for positive behavior and job training, and giving judges and juries the power that the Constitution intended to grant them in sentencing."

CNN hosted a much-touted "Climate Crisis Town Hall" for the Democratic presidential candidates on Tuesday night. However, a Category 5 Trump Tweet-storm slammed the event before the 7 hours of green justice fun began. President Donald Trump laid out 8-critical points, which refuted the fear-mongering that the 10 candidates offered to potential voters.
