The New York Times published a piece on President Donald Trump's response to the two deadly shootings with the title TRUMP URGES UNITY VS. RACISM. The newspaper used the correct headline because that's exactly what Trump said in his speech. However, it went against the leftist narrative's to push gun control even though they demanded Trump condemn white supremacy. The left and Democratic candidates blasted The New York Times, which changed the headline to appease them.

David Gibson, one of the owners of Gibson's Bakery and a plaintiff in the lawsuit that yielded almost $32 million in damages against Oberlin College, has just posted a video on Facebook announcing that he has pancreatic cancer. (h/t to multiple readers for alerting me) In the video (below), David says that Oberlin College has known about his illness for several months, and made a motion in court to keep that information away from jurors.

Rahm Emanuel once famously said that you should never let a crisis go to waste. Democrats have apparently taken that message to heart. The DNC and Democratic candidates sent out fundraising emails after the two shootings over the weekend.

On Saturday, a man shot up a Walmart in El Paso, killing 20 people and injuring 26 people. One law enforcement agent identified the suspect in custody as 21-year-old Patrick Crusius. A few hours after the massacre, news circulated that Crusius published a four-page manifesto filled with racist language and hatred for immigrants on 4chan and 8chan forums.

Almost nothing is taboo for #Pallywood, the anti-Israel propaganda industry that creates false or misleading images, videos and narratives in order to portray Israelis as evil. Non-Palestinian western activists and international media are an important part of this propaganda campaign. From faking injuries to using children as props, for decades, anti-Israel agitators have staged elaborate and horrifying scenes of Israeli brutality and Palestinian victimhood. Those scenes are then recorded and promoted around the world in an effort to frame Israel for human rights abuses— often exploiting especially vulnerable Palestinian children.

In a surprise move, India has scrapped special constitutional status granted to the Muslim-majority Kashmir region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist government issued a presidential order on Monday revoking decades-old legislative provisions granting autonomy to the northern Indian state formally known as Jammu and Kashmir. The move has been accompanied by a massive military build up. Ahead of the announcement, New Delhi dispatched 10,000 troops to the region, adding to estimated 210,000 army and para-military soldiers already deployed there.

On Saturday, 24-year-old Connor Betts went on a shooting rampage in Dayton, OH. He killed nine people, including his sister, and injured 27. Like other murderers, the actions of Betts did not surprise those who knew him. In fact, classmates and acquaintances knew for a long time Betts had it in him to cause so much death. His Twitter account lavished praise on Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and hatred on President Donald Trump along with ICE and the police.
