How bad are California's 2017 wildfires? The devastation is so bad that President Donald Trump and state politicians seemed to have called a temporary truce on their legal battling.
President Donald Trump says the federal government will be there for the people of California as devastating wildfires sweep across the state's famed wine country.

Stanley Cup champions Pittsburgh Penguins visited the White House Tuesday despite pressure from the Golden State Warriors refusal drop by the White House to celebrate their NBA championship win. The left went CRAZY on social media and one outlet even downplayed the tradition of visiting the White House.

We previously wrote how the U.S. Supreme Court was likely to dismiss the two Travel Order cases before it, one from the 4th Circuit (via Maryland District Court) and one from the 9th Circuit (via Hawaii District Court) on grounds of mootness. Both of those cases went against Trump. The 4th Circuit case became moot in late September because the Travel Order at issue (Travel Order No. 2) expired. In this context, mootness means there no longer is an actual case and controversy (a constitutional requirement for federal courts) to be decided by the court, because the Travel Order expired by its own terms.

Reem’s bakery in Oakland, CA, prominently displays a full-wall mural of Rasmea Odeh, who recently was deported for immigration fraud. Rasmea is the former military member of the terrorist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine who was convicted in Israel in 1970 of the 1969 supermarket bombing that killed two Hebrew University students, Edward Joffe and Leon Kanner. She also was convicted of the attempted bombing of the British Consulate. Rasmea and her supporters have concocted a phony claim that Rasmea only was convicted because of a false confession extracted after 25 days of sexual torture.

A Russian-linked operation different from the Kremlin-linked troll farms that spent bank on Facebook ads, dropped tens of thousands of dollars placing ads on YouTube, GMail, and other Google platforms. Their goal? Presumably to interfere in the 2016 election.

Former White House advisor Steve Bannon has declared war on Republican incumbents save one -- Ted Cruz. Joining Fox News' Sean Hannity Monday night, Bannon called Republican Sen. Corker's "hot mike" interview with the New York Times "unacceptable."

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas has released its latest video in an effort to showcase the bias in the mainstream media. This video includes Nicholas Dudich, the Audience Strategy Editor at The New York Times. In the video, Dudich claims that former FBI Director James Comey is his godfather, he was a member of Antifa, and that he chose to work at The New York Times because he doesn't have to be objective.

*UPDATE* Hillary released a statement today that condemned Weinstein, but did not mention anything about returning Weinstein's contributions. Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has lashed out at almost everyone for losing the election to President Donald Trump. She has also claimed to be a feminist, even though she has stuck with her husband through sexual assault and rape accusations. Her friends and allies have stuck with her on that one, but now they're starting to turn against her since she has not spoken out against movie mogul and mega-Democrat donor Harvey Weinstein.

There is good in this world and it's worth fighting for. People like Earl Melchert gives us hope for humanity. Not only did he save a kidnapped girl, but he gave her the $7,000 reward he received for finding her. Melchert went home on the afternoon of September 5 to retrieve a diesel can to fill so he could mow his yard. But when he got home he noticed something out in his field in Elbow Lake, MN. From The New York Times:
“I thought at first it was a deer,” Mr. Melchert, 65, said in an interview on Saturday. What he saw, it turned out, was 15-year-old Jasmine Block, who had disappeared on Aug. 8 from her home in Alexandria, Minn., about 30 miles from Mr. Melchert’s home.
