I'm in favor of mainstream media reporters and news people speaking their political minds on social media. Let it all hang out, tell us how much you hate Republicans/Conservatives/Non-Liberals/Americans/Donald Trump/Deplorables etc. Lay your political biases on the table for all the world to see. If your news reporting is straight up and supported, it shouldn't make a difference. But be transparent.

I realize that in the heat of a shooting, particularly a mass shooting, it may take some time for a precise timeline to develop. But it didn't take very long for the Las Vegas police to release a precise timeline. The initial timeline was that Stephen Paddock's shooting stopped when, approximately 6 minutes after he started, he was interrupted by a security guard from the Mandalay Bay hotel. Paddock then turned his fire into the hallway, firing some 200 bullets, and after that the shooting stopped as police arrived. That was Version No. 1.

Thirty-somethings in Japan aren't having sex and it could lead to the end of Japanese culture as we've known it. Without sex, there are no kiddos and without a generation to perpetuate it, the culture is doomed. In what's referred to as a "demographic time bomb", death rates are far above birth rates, leading to instability in every market from housing to investment, according to The Independent.

Sources have told The New York Daily News that failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may set her eyes on a professor role at Columbia University. The failed candidate used to teach at the University of Arkansas School of Law.

The Associated Press has released the mysterious sound that some American diplomats heard while in Cuba before coming down with horrible health problems. The sound is high pitched, almost like nails on a chalkboard. Experts told the AP that the noise cannot harm you if you listen to it on your computer "for short durations at normal levels." Those affected were hit by the sound "at extreme volumes."

You knew this would happen, right? The media can't resist the urge to tie anything negative to Trump directly or by extension. The ridiculous thing about this is that it's a blatant nothing burger. The whole point is to plant an association in people's minds.

Thursday, Trump issued an Executive Order directing federal agencies to draft new regulations allowing employers to form insurance offerings across state lines. Many contend opening up the marketplace will allow more employer flexibility, greater choice, and as a result, lower premiums. Before the ink had dried, a leaked report indicated Trump's plans to throw another blow at Obamacare, this time, by way of subsidy.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel promoted the architect of her open borders policy to her new chief foreign policy adviser. Merkel’s hand-picked Jan Hecker, widely regarded as the man enforcing Germany’s ill-advised refugee policy, has no foreign policy experience. Mainstream media that nitpicked President Trump on every single appointment, is apparently giving a pass to their favorite world leader on this one.

Almost every day some mainstream media reporter breaks a story about how the White House is in meltdown and the only thing standing between the nation and the abyss is Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly. Depending which "scoop" you are reading, Trump also is about to fire Kelly or Kelly's about to quit or Kelly is staying to protect the nation from Trump. These scoops create a media and political frenzy that have anti-Trump politicians and media talking about invoking the 25th Amendment or some other type of intervention.

Mark Penn, Democrat strategist and former pollster for Bill Clinton during his presidency, is reviled by today's regressive Democrats.  Happily, his truth bombs land amongst his leftist audience with a fizzle amid looks of scathing disdain. Penn's latest attempt to speak truth to the left's waning political power addresses why, as co-director of the Harvard-Harris Poll, he believes that the left is still getting everything wrong, particularly when it comes to polls and President Trump.
