Instead of election officials rejecting mail in ballots because the signature does not match the one on file, U.S. District Judge Mark Walker ordered that Florida extend the same courtesy it extends to those who don't sign their ballot at all: a chance to correct the problem. The Miami Herald reports:
Calling existing rules “obscene” disenfranchisement, a federal judge in Tallahassee declared late Sunday that Florida must provide a method for voters to fix signature problems that might arise when they vote by mail in the presidential election. U.S. District Judge Mark Walker’s ruling was a victory for the Florida Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee, which sued the state Oct. 3 arguing Florida canvassing boards shouldn’t immediately reject a ballot if a voter’s signature doesn’t match the one on file. The state gives voters who forget to sign their mail ballots a chance to fix the problem before Election Day — but doesn’t offer voters with mismatched signatures the same opportunity. Walker ruled the “bizarre” double-standard was unconstitutional.

During the past week-and-a-half, the elite media has been on a mission to obliterate Donald Trump's candidacy with late-coming charges by women whose stories are being challenged by people in positions to know the truth. On the other hand, the coverage of the WikiLeaks information related to Hillary Clinton, her Goldman Sachs speeches, the Clinton Foundation's corruption, the war on Bill Clinton's accusers, the war on Catholics, collusion with the Department of Justice, and the media collusion with her campaign has been dripping out slowly. Fortunately for the Republican candidate, the American people's trust in the American press is such that Google searches for the term "Wikileaks" has dwarfed the searches related to the Trump scandal. How is the ginned-up Trump scandal actually impacting women voters? While my vote has remained unchanged, I was interested in what other female supporters were saying.

The AARP has started airing a series of ads meant to cause concern about the future of Social Security. It's odd for them to show so much concern after pushing the financial disaster known as Obamacare. The Huffington Post is angry about the advocacy group's use of "conservative scare tactics." From their report:
Nation’s Largest Seniors Group Is Using Conservative Scare Tactics On Social Security Television viewers across the country have been treated to some scary advertisements about the future of Social Security. “Our next president needs to take action on Social Security, or future generations could lose up to $10,000 a year,” the narrator intones, as ominous music plays in the background.

I'm baaaaack! Sort of. Kind of. Partially, anyway. I'm covered in spit up, am pretty sure there's more dry shampoo than hair on my head, am not entirely sure when I last showered, have dark circles not even the heaviest of concealers could conquer, our home is a certifiable disaster area, and dishes? we've moved to paper dining ware (usually I'd feel morally obligated to stick to more eco-friendly methods, but I really don't care right now). I've done more laundry in the last two weeks than I've probably done all year prior and I couldn't be happier. I've spent the last two weeks welcoming the newest addition to our family -- Klara Cadence. She was born September 30. The U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation is one of the most virulently anti-Israel activist groups. Legal Insurrection recently covered how the US Campaign's plan to hold a seminar on Capitol Hill was canceled when it became known just how extremist it was, Report: Pro-BDS event on Capitol Hill canceled after nature of group exposed. Perhaps to escape its past, U.S. Campaign is rebranding itself and renaming itself as the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights. This weekend the U.S. Campaign held its Annual Conference in Northern Virginia, attended by about 200 anti-Israel activists. Panelists and experts instructed activists within churches, academia, and community organizing on how to leverage their influence against Israel. I attended the annual meeting. In this first report, I will focus on how plans were unveiled by Kairos USA, an anti-Israel church group, to ramp up the efforts to turn churches against Israel by leveraging concerns about Black Lives Matter within Black Churches, and the rollout of a new crowdsourcing and organizing portal, Palestine Portal.

A GOP office in North Carolina was firebombed. ABC News reports: A local Republican Party office in North Carolina was damaged by fire and someone spray-painted an anti-GOP slogan referring to "Nazi Republicans" on a nearby wall, authorities said Sunday. A news release from the town of Hillsborough said someone threw a bottle filled with flammable liquid through the window of the Orange County Republican Party headquarters overnight. The substance ignited and damaged furniture and the interior before burning out.

Now that the Paris Climate accords targeting carbon dioxide are being implemented, with regulatory restrictions and wealth redistribution systems being firmly established, climate alarmists need a new target. It appears they have quickly found one: Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).
Nearly 200 nations have reached a deal to limit the use of greenhouse gases far more powerful than carbon dioxide in a major effort to fight climate change. The talks on hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, have been called the first test of global will since the historic Paris Agreement to cut carbon emissions was reached last year. HFCs are described as the world's fastest-growing climate pollutant and are used in air conditioners and refrigerators.

In 2012, the families of the Sandy Hook victims sued Remington Arms for selling a perfectly legal weapon in a perfectly legal way.  The lawsuit argued that the sale of the a weapon that has "no reasonable civilian purpose" made Remington responsible for wrongful death.  On Friday, a Connecticut judge dismissed the Sandy Hook families' suit against Remington Arms. Reuters reports:
A Connecticut judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by the families of some of the 26 young children and adults killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary school in 2012, saying the maker of the rifle used in the attack had "broad immunity" under federal law. The lawsuit, filed in December 2014 and seeking unspecified financial damages, said the AR-15 military-syle assault weapon used in the attack in Newtown, Connecticut, should never have been sold to the gunman's mother, Nancy Lanza, because it had no reasonable civilian purpose.

WikiLeaks' release of the Podesta emails includes exchanges among Team Hillary on two matters related to her and Bill Clinton's shady past when it comes to women.  In December, 2015 they shared the reaction to Hillary's bizarre statement that victims of rape and sexual assault "deserve to be believed," and in January, 2016, they discussed how to deflect or discredit Juanita Broaddrick's claim that even after nearly 40 years she is still haunted by her alleged rape by Bill Clinton. In an email chain entitled "FYI," Team Hillary alerts its members to the fall-out from Hillary's ridiculously idiotic (given her and husband's history) statement about women being believed, a credo she and Bill have never lived by. This all seems to have started with a tweet from Jennifer Epstein, a "reporter" who covers Hillary Clinton for Bloomberg. The tweet itself appears to have been deleted; however, the internet being the internet, it is cached.
