Federal authorities have located and arrested a California man suspected of threatening to kill FCC Chairman Ajit Pai's children. He faces a maximum of 10 years in the federal slammer. He "is charged with a threatening to murder a member of the immediate family of a U.S. official with the intent to intimidate or interfere with such official while engaged in the performance of official duties, or with the intent to retaliate against such official on account of the performance of official duties," says the Department of Justice. According to a Department of Justice press release, the man was upset about the repeal of net neutrality and was trying to frighten Pai in retaliation.

It's a rough week to be a Democrat. In several decisions the Supreme Court upheld Constitutional protections again. Such a drag, those guys. It's like they don't even care about anyone's feelings! And the icing on the cake? Justice Kennedy announced his retirement. So TrumpHitler gets a second SCOTUS pick. May as well fold it up and put on a cape because WE ARE LIVING IN THE HANDMAID'S TALE.

Men, get you a lady like Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao! Immigration protesters accosted Chao and her husband Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as they left Georgetown University. Chao took none of their nonsense and snipped at them to leave her husband alone.

Tuesday, the Supreme Court upheld Trump's third travel order. After two failed attempts, the administration scrapped the first two in favor of a third, which they believed would stand up to SCOTUS scrutiny. Looks like they were right. The order which sought to temporarily curb immigration from states with long-standing records of sponsoring or engaging in terrorist activity was painted as anti-Muslim, based on statements Trump made during the presidential campaign.

Last week as Trump arrived at the U.S. Capitol, a young woman screamed "Mr. President, f*** you!" That person has now been identified as an intern for New Hampshire Democrat Senator Maggie Hassan. The intern has been suspended but not fired.

Friday night, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and her family were asked to leave the Red Hen, a restaurant in Virginia, because she works for Trump. She wasn't booted out by a low-level employee but by the restaurant owner. Sanders handled the ordeal well, saying of the Red Hen owner, "Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so."

It looks like you got your wish, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA). She told MSNBC that #TheResistance will "harass them [members of the administration] until they decide that they're going to tell the president, 'No, I can't hang with you.'" Professor Jacobson documented the times that members of President Donald Trump's administration has faced harassment just this past week. Now the Department of Homeland Security has issued safety warnings for its staff after someone left a burned animal carcass on one official's front porch.
