Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg returned home on Tuesday, five days after she underwent surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from her lung. From CNBC:

The court said that after the surgery no further treatment was planned, and that there was no evidence of remaining disease.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg had surgery today to remove two cancerous nodules in her left lung.

The Supreme Court spokeswoman said doctors found “no evidence of any remaining disease” in the lungs or elsewhere in her body.

*UPDATE* Ginsburg has left the hospital after she broke three ribs when she fell at her office. The Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said that Ginsburg “is doing well and plans to work from home today.”
