Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a candidate for the House from New York, loves the media and the media loves her right back. After her primary win over Democrat incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley, she's traveled all around the country and never had a problem with the cameras. That is until Ocasio-Cortez returned to the district she may represent in the House. Her campaign banned the press from stops on a tour throughout the district.

Unfortunately for the press, there's not enough dirt on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, which means journalists have to scrape at the bottom of the barrel. That's where we enter the creepy level and ProPublica has embraced it because the publication wants to know exactly who went to Washington Nationals baseball games with the judge and pictures of him at the games. Yes, the publication is still probing this disturbing development from July even though Kavanaugh bought those tickets with his personal credit card and his friends paid him back.

I've said it before and I will say it again: If you DO NOT want to be called fake news then DO NOT put out FAKE NEWS. I cannot stand Attorney General Jeff Sessions and there is so much you can use against him that you don't have to make up stuff! The MSM splattered across their pages that he joined in the "lock her up" chant that broke out during his summit. He did not do this.

Law enforcement identified the man who shot and killed five people at Capital Gazette in Annapolis, MD, as Jarrod Ramos. Ramos sued the publication in 2012 for defamation, but the judge tossed the case in 2015. Instead of waiting for facts, many people and the media immediately jumped to conclusions and blamed President Donald Trump's rhetoric.

The MSM wonders why the majority of America cannot stand them. It's probably because of the way they twist and edit President Donald Trump's words. The New York Times, The Washington Post, and others all claimed that Trump called "some unauthorized immigrants" animals during a rant. No. He referred to members of the dangerous MS-13 gang as animals.

Michelle Wolf's performance at last night's White House Correspondents' Dinner (WHCD) has created quite a stir. President Trump, for the second year in a row, held a rally rather than attend. Wolf, apparently a correspondent on the Late Show with that new guy, blasted President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, as well as making some pointed remarks about the state of today's journalism. Some of her comments, however, are seen as crossing a line, particularly points about Sanders.
