From Jeanne: I couldn’t resist sending it to you because of the plate, and the nice sticker of Ronald Reagan saluting the flag. This was seen in a Bass Pro parking lot in Mesa, Arizona. ...

Prof. Jacobson, Saw this (while stopped at a red light) on the way back from class. I thought it was interesting how the middle sticker had replaced the "God" in "Thank God it's Friday," with "Unions." Thank you for all you do. Regards, A Conservative in Medical School ...

Okay, I see you are. Yeah, we're following you. The vast right wing conspiracy is everywhere. From Bob, A misplace Californian, spotted at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Longmont CO. ...

Not just economically, but in academia as well. From a reader send after the fiscal cliff vote: Seen at the Toco Hills shopping center in Atlanta, Georgia - The only bright spot in my day after the disappointment last night. If you use this, please publish this anonymously...

From reader 9thDistrictNeighbor: Dear Professor, The attached billboard from WCPT-AM (“Chicago’s Progressive Talk”) popped up shortly after the election. The billboard is actually a fantastic buy, as on an hourly basis and by virtue of its location way off the Kennedy Expressway (I-94) it reaches far more...

We published a bumper sticker or sign almost every day this year, sometimes more than one a day.  Please keep them coming, by emailing me at the address on the contact page. Most of the bumper stickers, of course, were motivated by the elections, with a huge number of innovative uses of the "O" in the Obama logo. I have selected some of my favorites (going easy on the campaign stickers), in no particular order.  Click over to each post for the commentary from the reader and from me that accompanied each sticker.

A view of another side of the vehicle featured yesterday, photographed by Jon in Georgia. I finally was able to focus on one of the stickers, and it's quite correct. And says a lot about how we let it all go so wrong.  ...

I'm overwhelmed. I can't zero in on any one bumper sticker. It worked. From Jon, taken at the Perimeter Mall in Atlanta/Dunwoody, Georgia, with images of the other sides of the vehicle to follow: Here is a mini-van tesselated with bumper stickers. Methinks these stickers may be serving a functional...

Using a sports team name which may be offensive to Native Americans, or ripping off their heritage and identity for your own professional gain? The team bus of the Liberal High School (KS) Redskins, in a photo take in early November: Professor, On my way home this evening, I...

From Amy, This is my car, with the bumper sticker I mentioned the other day. I ordered it after the election, feeling let down, angry and frustrated with the whole thing. Mostly, I felt disgusted with anyone stupid enough to vote for Obama. This sticker made me...

Dear Professor Jacobson: I saw this well-worn bumper sticker on an SUV in a Glenview, Illinois parking garage. It seemed to sum up where we are in some ways, as Speaker Boehner cozies up to the administration in a futile attempt to demonstrate…I don’t know what he’s...

From LukeHandCool, another sign at the New Roads School in Santa Monica, CA: News item: Lefty school educators endorse Simpson-Butkus Plan. More Filling! ...

Also known as, Obamaconomy. From Joe, spotted on election day in the parking lot at a polling place: A trick parked in the lot at the high school where I vote. (Goshen, in the Cincinnati exurbs). ...
