2020 Presidential Election Tag

Joe Biden has been dogged by suggestions that his son Hunter benefited financially from Biden's connections as vice president. Now a new report is raising similar questions, this time about Biden's son-in-law, Howard Krein. Krein is advising the Biden campaign on the Coronavirus pandemic, while reportedly investing in companies which could benefit from it financially.

A recent poll from Gallup found that 56 percent of registered voters believe they are better off after four years under President Trump than they were four years ago under the Obama/Biden administration. Joe Biden was asked by a reporter why these voters should support him. Biden said they probably shouldn't.

As we move closer to the November 3, 2020 presidential election, more and more Americans are "tuning in."  Not everyone follows politics as closely as we and our readers do here at LI, so it's not unusual for people to first think about a presidential election sometime in October and to be influenced by what they see when they finally "tune in."

Democrats and their media cohorts are scrambling to figure out what to do about Joe Biden's self-inflicted court packing problem. Biden, as we noted yesterday, not only asserted that American voters "don't deserve" to know where he stands on court packing but made the absurd statement that Republicans are "court packing" by lawfully filling an open seat on the Supreme Court.  A move Biden ludicrously claims is "not constitutional."

Swedish 'climate activist' Greta Thunberg on Saturday threw her support behind Democratic candidate Joe Biden as the presidential election enters its final leg. "Just get organized and get everyone to vote Biden," the 17-year-old activist told her four million followers on Twitter.

The 2020 presidential debate process has been a train wreck. The first debate with Chris Wallace of FOX News was terrible, largely due to Wallace himself who, at times, argued with Trump more than Biden did. Then Steve Scully, the moderator of the second debate came under scrutiny for anti-Trump bias. The second debate has been cancelled as Scully's Twitter account is being investigated for a supposed hacking that's about as believable as the investigation of Joy Reid's old blog.

If you watched the vice presidential debate this week, you may have noticed that Kamala Harris often seemed agitated and nervous. This presented itself physically in her facial expressions, nervous laughter, and attitude. According to pollster and analyst Frank Luntz, this did not go over well with the undecided voters in his focus group.
