2020 Democratic Primary Tag

It's not exactly breaking news that Joe Biden has been gaffe-prone for most of his political life. It's also not new news Biden tends to fabricate or embellish stories about himself while on the campaign trail to impress crowds. Just this month alone, he's committed so many blunders and misstatements that most of us have lost count. Thanks to The Washington Post engaging in some actual journalism for a change, we can add "making up war stories that never happened" to the list.

In the aftermath of Israel barring entry of two far left-wing anti-Israel members of Congress, Democratic politicians began to worry that Israel was becoming a wedge issue rather than an issue with bipartisan support. Staunch pro-Israel Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY) said “refusing entry to members of Congress looks like Israel [is] closing itself off to criticism and dialogue. This decision will only strengthen the anti-Israel movements and arguments many of us find so troubling, further politicize support for Israel in the United States and ultimately play right into the hands of Israel’s enemies.” (Emphasis added.)

When last we left you, Joe Biden added two more flubs to his ever-growing gaffe list. Along with that were heightened concerns being expressed by Democrats that Biden may no longer be cut out for the rough and tumble of the campaign trail. Questions have popped up over the last few weeks about Biden's age, mental acuity, and toughness. Now comes the news that will be even more unwelcomed by his campaign. A new poll released Monday by Monmouth shows a significant drop in his numbers, putting him in a three-way tie:

Reports are circulating that former staffers of and a fundraiser for Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) are urging her to drop out of the 2020 Democrat presidential primary race.  Stating that she comes across as an "opportunist" and that her debate presence is "performative and obnoxious," the former staffers contend that she should drop out "graciously."

The argument for Joe Biden's candidacy for president is coming into focus. His mind is adequate. He's 76 years young. You have nothing to worry about, America. Really.

Throughout her adult professional life, Elizabeth Warren has manipulated Native Americans. When Warren was in her mid-30s, and a law professor, she for the first time asserted that she was Native American. She didn't do it by joining Native American groups, by bringing lawsuits to help Native Americans, or by helping Native American students. Never in her life did she do any of those things.
