Mary is the resident libertarian. She covers stories in every vertical, but her favorite thing to do is take on the media. She saw its bias against the right when she was a socialist.

Mary loves the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, tennis, cats, Oxford comma, Diet Coke, and needlework.

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), who is known for criticizing his own party, became the 20th Democrat presidential candidate after he announced his decision on Good Morning America:
"I'm here to tell you, and to tell America, that I'm running for president of the United States," Moulton told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America" Monday. During his campaign, Moulton said he plans to "talk about patriotism, about security, about service. These are issues Democrats for too long have ceded to Republicans."

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These are some of the unalienable rights bestowed on us by our Creator. Life is the most important right because without it, the other rights don't matter or exist. Someone needs to remind North Carolina Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper of these unalienable rights. Cooper vetoed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which required doctors to save babies who survive abortion.

Oh this will help bring in the young voters! Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants to introduce a bill to raise the smoking and vaping age to 21. We obviously need the government to look out for us because education alone hasn't taught us the harm that comes with smoking cigarettes.

Attorney General William Barr held a news conference this morning and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report came out. Both sent the left and mainstream media into a downward spiral to find anything to fit their two year narrative.

That didn't take long! At his press conference, one reporter asked Attorney General William Barr if he would allow Special Counsel Robert Mueller to testify in front of Congress. Mueller is still an employee with the Department of Justice. Barr said he has no objections. Almost immediately, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler tweeted out a letter to Mueller.

The ABC-I team in Chicago continues its great work investigating Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx after her office dropped 16 felony charges against actor Jussie Smollett. Foxx recused herself from the case after she talked with Smollett's family before the charges, but new texts show that she still communicated with her team, found the charges excessive, and called Smollett a "washed up actor."

2020 presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) released 10 years of his tax returns right before he participated in a town hall with Fox News. It turns out the self-proclaimed socialist belongs to the 1% his side hates. The returns also show that he donated little to charity despite making a ton of money.

Happy Tax Day! Unfortunately, the 16th Amendment still exists, which means everyone pays federal taxes. Today is the due date so you better get it in or else the IRS will come after you for the money they believe belongs to them. But I digress. Remember that tax plan that passed in late 2017? The left pounced and convinced people they would not receive a tax cut. Some even believed they would see a tax increase. Lies. Data has proven the left wrong once again.

President Donald Trump tweeted on Friday that he is "giving strong considerations" to the idea of sending illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities, which includes many in California. Cher balked at the idea, but not for reasons you may think. She complained, rightfully, that her city of Los Angeles should first do something with the tens of thousands of homeless people.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has come out to bat for his boss Attorney General William Barr, who has faced criticism from people that he's trying to mislead people on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report. One thing that has annoyed me for awhile is the fact that people have called the four page summary "Barr's summary" when Rosenstein helped draft it.
