As the Women's March bleeds supporters over the support of anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, leaders Bob Bland and Tamika Mallory appeared on The View. Instead of condemning Farrakhan's hatred of Jews, Mallory doubled down:
“I think it’s important to put my attendance, my presence at Savior’s Day — which is the highest holy day for the Nation of Islam — in proper context,” Mallory replied. “As a leader, as a black leader in a country that is still dealing with some very serious unresolved issues as it relates to the black experience in this country, I go into a lot of difficult spaces.”

Attorney General William Barr said that he plans to tell the Senate during his confirmation hearings this week that he believes Special Counsel Robert Mueller should finish his Russia investigation. From NBC News:
"I believe it is vitally important that the Special Counsel be allowed to complete his investigation," Barr plans to tell the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to prepared remarks obtained by NBC News.

We all know how the DNC screwed over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in 2016 in favor of failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Now it looks like Sanders may run in 2020 after he added to his staff "the digital alumni who were key to his surprise performance in 2016" along with "the media production company that helped launch Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to prominence."

Last week Durham, North Carolina’s Human Relations Commission (HRC) disappointed the vast majority of the city’s Jewish community by rejecting a draft proposal that had urged city officials to remove reference to Israel from their April 2018 ‘Statement by Durham City Council on International Police Exchanges’. At issue was the statement that passed unanimously on April 16t, 2018, by Durham’s City Council and which imposed a total ban on any and all law enforcement trainings with only one country in the world: Israel.

Two supposed bombshell reports about Trump-Russia collusion rocked the media news cycle this weekend, but as all of the other bombshells dropped by the media, there is a lot less to the reports than the hype suggests. The hype has given rise to a Manchurian Candidate accusation against Trump, that he is an agent of some sort of the Russians, with Vladimir Putin his controller.

As Ruth Bader Ginsburg watch continues, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says he's "hell bent" on replacing her—or any Justice who leaves the Supreme Court—with a conservative.  As the new chairman of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee, he's in a position to follow through. Graham was absolutely horrified and incensed by the way the Democrats treated now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and he is obviously still angry and indignant about it.

Institutional anti-Semitism in the Women's March, the most celebrated political movement of Trump era so far, has been in the news lately, with many opinion-makers calling for the boycott of the upcoming January 19 nationwide protest. Many of us knew that the national co-chairs were fans of Louis Farrakhan; many noted the curious absence of condemnation of anti-Semitism in the intersectional organization's Unity Principles.

Israel's Operation Northern Shield continues to uncover Hezbollah attack tunnels dug from Lebanese civilian areas under the border into northern Israel. The purpose of the tunnels was to surprise Israel in the next war by infiltrating special Hezbollah commando units who have been tasked with capturing an Israeli town or border community. While such a capture would be temporary, it would be a large propaganda victory.
