Rutgers University paid twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton $25,000 for her recent speech, and the relatively low speaking fee is causing quite the buzz. After all, Rutgers paid Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, of the reality show Jersey Shore more than that in 2011.

Vermont is known for being a gun-friendly state, so gun-friendly, in fact, that socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) squirms whenever the issue of gun control comes up.  Last year, Guns & Ammo ranked Vermont #20 on its annual Best States for Gun Owners list. That may all change, however.  The Vermont legislature has passed a "raft" of gun control measures, and the bill is on its way to Governor Phil Scott (R) who has indicated that he will sign the bill into law.  Two additional gun control bills are currently making their way through the legislature.

President Donald Trump has been working hard at erasing his predecessor's phone-and-pen legacy. His latest rollback of Obam-era inanity focuses on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its new plans for fuel economy standards.
The Trump administration is expected to launch an effort in coming days to weaken greenhouse gas emissions and fuel economy standards for automobiles, handing a victory to car manufacturers and giving them ammunition to potentially roll back industry standards worldwide.

As if you needed any reminding that nothing has changed, witness today's Hamas-organized attempt to storm the Gaza border, with women and children pushed to the front lines as human shields. The military leader of Hamas was blunt about the objective:

Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is lashing out again.  This time because people, "mostly in the media," keep telling her to shut up and go away.  She must also be referring to the many Democrats who have said the same thing as she keeps pointing at everyone but herself for her 2016 loss to President Trump. Her latest rant suggests that the people who said to her, "Go away, go away," are doing so only because she's a woman.
