Having called the Brexit referendum and resigned his post as Prime Minister in June, David Cameron announced today that he has resigned as MP, effective immediately. The Telegraph reports:
David Cameron is standing down as MP for Witney, triggering a by-election in the Oxfordshire seat. Mr Cameron's decision comes two months after he quit as Prime Minister on July 13 in the wake of defeat in the EU referendum.

Hillary is totally fine you guys. She just needed to take a sick day, stay in her jammies, watch cartoons, and sip 7-up so she can get better. After a brutal 24-hour news cycle, Hillary is alive and tweeting. Thanks to everyone who’s reached out with...

The Free Beacon broke a story today about how The U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation is holding a forum on Capitol Hill supporting the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, Congress to Host First-Ever Forum in Favor of Boycotting Israel:
Congress is scheduled to host what insiders described as the first-ever forum in favor of boycotting Israel, according to congressional sources and an invitation for the event being circulated by an anti-Israel organization. The briefing is scheduled to take place Friday on Capitol Hill and will feature several speakers known for their criticism of Israel and support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, or BDS, which has been cited by Jewish organizations as an anti-Semitic movement. The event is being sponsored by the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, a pro-BDS organization that recently came under fire when it hosted a Democratic member of Congress who referred to Israeli settlers as “termites.” Senior congressional sources with knowledge of the event told the Washington Free Beacon that the Capitol Hill office in charge of reserving the event room would not disclose the name of the lawmaker sponsoring the event.

According to new polling, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has more support from military veterans than the other presidential candidates.  Recent polling of active military showed 37% of respondents chose Johnson, reports The Hill. Depending upon the accuracy of the polling, it may serve as further evidence that military service members are increasingly Libertarian.

The debate over our founding fathers' religious beliefs is centuries old. Though we are a nation intentionally founded on Judeo-Christian principles, the anti-religion crowd loves to paint the men that created our great nation as beings of The Enlightenment, forgetting (intentionally or ignorantly) their deeply-rooted...

Let's say it simply: Joe Scarborough has become a shameless pro-Hillary shill. On the big issues of the day: Hillary's health collapse and her "basket of deplorables," Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook himself could not have spun things for Clinton more audaciously than did Scarborough on today's Morning Joe. On Hillary's collapse, Scarborough played the happens-to-everyone card, saying that he often has to grab the handrail walking down the stairs and feels faint during every performance with his rock group. As for Hillary heaving half of Trump supporters in a "basket of deplorables," Scarborough first tried to prove Hillary right with some poll numbers, then dismissed the issue as "much ado about nothing."

The history of Hillary Clinton is one of deep paranoia. From the secretive health care taskforce during her husband's presideny to the secret home server, fear of sunlight drives her actions. And the mainstream media is a willing participant most of the way until the obvious can no longer be denied or covered up. There is no better example than Hillary's "medical event" at the 9/11 Memorial service yesterday. For weeks the mainstream media and the Clinton campaign have been berating anyone who pointed out that her coughing fits were not only odd, but perhaps a sign of deeper trouble. The wagons were circled. Then, yesterday Hillary collapsed. The video is devastating. Hillary starts out propped up by a stone auto barrier, but even then looks wobbly. As soon as the van pulls up Hillary goes into obvious convulsions as she tries to move towards the van while being held up by her arms. Even so, she falls forward towards the ground as she is dragged into the waiting van. Hillary Clinton Helped to Van 9-11 Memorial 2016 Those around her, presumably mostly Secret Service, create a visual barrier preventing cameras from capturing what happened in the van.

Hillary Clinton is pretty sure the sexism used against her in the 2016 election is the stuff of history and that it will be studied in academia for years. After the NBC commander in chief forum, Hillary spoke to reporters near her plane. Via Real Clear Politics:
Hillary Clinton: There Will Be PhD Theses About Sexism Against Me Written For Years To Come Speaking to reporters outside her campaign plane Thursday morning, Hillary Clinton responded to a question about the below tweet from RNC chairman Reince Priebus urging her to "smile" more. Asked if she believes there is a "double standard" in the presidential race for women, she replied: "I'm going to let all of you ponder that last question."

In two editorials last week, The Washington Post inadvertently made the case for Donald Trump to be president. To be sure the Post still believes that Trump is a "unique" threat to our republic, but the two editorials highlighted the dangers of President Hillary Clinton. On Tuesday, an editorial opposing the impeachment of IRS Commissioner John Koskinen asserted that the behavior at the center of the controversy, "was more about bureaucratic obliviousness than purposeful anti-conservative activity." Later the editorial asserted that the whole incident was a "non-scandal," which mostly took place under Koskinen's predecessor Lois Lerner. Absent from the editorial was any acknowledgement that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled last month that the targeting of conservative group is ongoing and that the IRS could not be trusted to stop the practice on its own.

I know, I know. You just were being patriotic. You just were honoring the fallen and the surviving heroes of the World Trade Center. You had good intentions. You didn't profit from it. Country first! That's what Sarah Palin or whoever runs her Facebook page likely was thinking when, on September 11, 2013, the following image was posted:

In 2013, Florida's Attorney General, Pam Bondi, solicited a $25,000 donation from the Trump Foundation.  Coincidentally, this was the same period during which Bondi's office was purportedly investigating Trump University and determining whether or not to join New York's suit against Trump U.  Democrats jumped at the chance to point fingers and make accusations of pay-to-play / influence peddling. The Tampa Bay Times reports:
"I never, nor was my office, investigating him. Never. I would never lie. I would never take money. I've been obviously devastated over this," Bondi said in a voicemail message to a Times/Herald reporter. In a separate statement, Bondi called Monday's Associated Press report on the Trump University issue "misleading," adding: "No one in my office ever opened an investigation of Trump University, nor was there a basis for doing so." The AP account said Bondi "nixed" suing Trump, but it did not say that she had opened an investigation.

The other day we reported on Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's video in which he pointed out that advocating the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Judea and Samaria (the "West Bank") is hardly a path to peace, Ethnic Cleansing of Jews For Peace is Absurd: Netanyahu was factually correct on the goals of the Palestinian leadership, and not only from Hamas:

While we take time this day to remember each in our own way 9/11, we should note that this is also the fourth anniversary of the Benghazi attack that left four Americans dead:  Christopher Stevens, an American ambassador; Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, former Navy SEALS; Sean Smith, an embassy aide. https://twitter.com/BAMac01/status/774948505689268224
