Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) said he wants to postpone future impeachment hearings due to new developments from closed-door testimonies over the weekend:
"A lot of people didn't realize that once the cameras ended... on Friday, we then went back to this SCIF in the Capitol basement where there was a closed-door deposition," Zeldin said on Fox Nation's "Maria Bartiromo's Insiders."

President Donald Trump released the transcript of his first phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky back in April. The men enjoyed a short conversation with Trump praising Zelensky's win. He published the transcript as the second impeachment hearing kicked off. Former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch is testifying before the House Intelligence Committee.

George Kent, a diplomat in the State Department, testified that America has always placed conditions on all loans to Ukraine:
“There are and always have been conditionality placed on our sovereign loan guarantees for Ukraine. Conditions include anti-corruption reforms, as well as meeting larger stability goals and social safety nets. The International Monetary Fund does the same thing. Congress and the executive branch work together to put conditionality on some security assistance in the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative.”

House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes unloaded on the Democrats in his opening statement in its impeachment inquiry:
In a July open hearing of this committee following publication of the Mueller report, the Democrats engaged in a last-ditch effort to convince the American people that President Trump is a Russian agent. That hearing was the pitiful finale of a three-year-long operation by the Democrats, the corrupt media, and partisan bureaucrats to overturn the results of the 2016 presidential election.

[Union Pub] Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of themed specials, such as Union Pub's "ImPEACHment Please" and The Partisan's combo that features Colonel E. H. Taylor whiskey. The whiskey was chosen for Ukraine Ambassador William Taylor, who's set to testify Wednesday along with George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary in Washington.

Acting US Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor told Congress that US Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland knew President Donald Trump threatened to cutoff aid to Ukraine if the government did not investigate former Vice President Joe Biden. Taylor also claimed Sondland passed the threat to the Ukrainian government. However, Sondland's attorney Robert Luskin said his client does not recall any conversation about cutting off Ukraine.

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent told Congress on Tuesday that in 2015 he raised concerns about Hunter Biden sitting Burisma Holding's board. He feared Hunter working for the company "would complicate efforts by U.S. diplomats to convey to Ukrainian officials the importance of avoiding conflicts of interest." The office of then-Vice President Joe Biden brushed him off.
