Trump Tells Reporters He Doesn’t Want Public Impeachment Hearings, Calls Whistleblower a ‘Disgrace’

Trump on Bloomberg: “Little Michael will fail.”

President Donald Trump gave an impromptu press conference on the White House lawn.

He touched on many subjects, including the impeachment inquiry, the whistleblower, Russia’s May Day parade, and Michael Bloomberg entering the presidential race.

Impeachment Inquiry

Trump described the whistleblower as a “disgrace” and wants him outed. He also thinks the whistleblower’s lawyer Mark Zaid “should be sued, and maybe for treason.”

Zaid tweeted about impeaching Trump back in 2017.

Trump demanded Congress not to hold public impeachment hearings. He called it a “hoax” and compared it to “the Russian witch hunt.” He’s also “not concerned” about any of the testimonies given to Congress.

When asked about US Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, Trump said he hardly knows “the gentleman.” Sondland recently changed his testimony to Congress, saying there was a quid pro quo for Ukraine aid.

Sondland donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration. Trump spoke highly of him only a month ago.

Michael Bloomberg

Yesterday news came out that former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg started the first steps to enter the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

Trump said he “welcomed the chance to run against” Bloomberg. Trump claimed Bloomberg “doesn’t have the magic to do well,” but will “spend a lot of money.”

Overall, Trump thinks “Little Michael will fail.”

Russia’s May Day Parade

This part bothers me. I know Trump did not collude with Russia, but Russian President Vladimir Putin is no friend to America or anything that we stand for.

Putin invited Trump to Russia’s May Day parade, which celebrates Russia’s defeat of Nazi Germany.

Trump said “he’s considering accepting” the invitation.

No, do not go. We only allied ourselves with Josef Stalin because Hitler betrayed him and we knew we needed more strength on the Eastern front.

I’m hoping he said it to troll the media and the left. I really do.

Comments

IIRC, in the Communist world, May Day isn’t a celebration of the fall of Nazi Germany, although it may be advertised that way next year.

The thing about Trump considering something, he just keeps his options open as long as he practically can. It costs him nothing to be considering going, and retains any leverage that might give him to decide to go or not at a later date.

Trump should definitely go to Russia’s May Day parade. We helped the Russians defeat the Germans.

By the way, we were only allies with Stalin because he was already killing Germans when Germany declared war on us. We didn’t need Stalin per se as much as he needed us. However, thanks to him many fewer Americans needed to be killed to end Hitler. Thank you comrade Stalin!

Yes, fewer Americans died because Russia soldiers killed Nazis BUT Stalin can never be a “brother”.
A man who killed millions of his own countrymen and killed or enslaved people of other countries should be disowned, better, never recognized as a brother!
Thanks, but no thanks

    Stalin died in 1953.

It might be time to get over it.

      Why?

People should be reminded of Stalin and Lenin often. They should be reminded of the 50 million+ murdered by the communists. They should understand the nature of cold blooded mass killers that wish to rule over us.

They should be reminded of those that are like them. Starting with Pelosi and Schiff would be good.

The May Day parade isn’t really a celebration of Stalin, who probably was a worse person than Hitler, but a celebration of the Russians who defeated Hitler. Some of them are still alive. We should honor them and remind them of how we helped them. Plus it would be a great trolling of the anti-Trumpers.

I’d hate to see him when he takes his gloves off!

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Russia’s May Day celebrations as commemorating the end of WW2. It’s always been to celebrate Communism.

May Day is a traditional workers’ day across the whole of Europe. So a popular socialist and communist day across the breath of Europe. However, in Russia May 1st is about near V-E day and therefore the May Day Parade transformed into a celebration to also include the defeat of Germany alongside a celebration of the Soviet state.

Russia is also no longer communist today. Authoritarian yes, but not communist.

“Russia is also no longer communist today.”

They never were. They just called themselves that to con the populace into thinking that things might get “better” some day.

“Sondland recently changed his testimony to Congress, saying there was a quid pro quo for Ukraine aid….”

I’m not positive on this because the Dems have been throwing so much crap around, but isn’t this the one where Sondland wasn’t on the call, had no first-hand knowledge of the whole thing, and changed testimony due to a New York Times article?

Mary is way off base here. What Sonland’s updated testimony actually does is clarify:

1) that what Trump was asking from Ukraine was entirely legitimate (an honest investigation into Cloudstrike and the Bidens, not any pre-determined conclusion), and

2) that even on this perfectly legitimate request, for which it would have been fully appropriate to make impose a quid pro quo condition, witholding aid until Zelensky agreed, Trump still did NOT set any quid pro quo conditions.

Here is Trump’s phone call with Sonland, from his updated testimony. It really is perfect:

Sonland: “What do you want from Ukraine?”

Trump: “I want nothing, I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelensky to do the right thing.”

Sondland: “What does that mean?”

Trump: “I want him to do what he ran on.”

https://pjmedia.com/trending/no-sondlands-revised-testimony-doesnt-prove-there-was-a-quid-pro-quo/

Zelensky ran on getting back to the rule of law, with honest investigations of prior corruption.

I wonder if Trump is trolling the stooge Schiff-face with saying he doesn’t want a public hearing. It seems to me the sure fire way to have the Romney wing and the National Socialists go nuts to have a public trial, if it comes to that, is for Trump to say he doesn’t want it. It also seems like having it public would have those giving testimony to be exposed through judicious questions. While the left and their propaganda wing will try to spin things, that is much more difficult to do when it’s all public.

You’re right, so Trump asks for the opposite thing. Their TDS will make them reflexively do the opposite of what Trump says he wants. It’s kinda like a Jedi mind trick, except the progs are twice as stupid as Storm Troopers.

That ::::cough cough:::: whistling blower is just another Obama Sucka!

“Maybe The Whistleblower Isn’t the One Who Needs Anonymity

The whistle blower’s attorney @MarkSZaidEsq has scrubbed the link from his website that went to his YouTube channel.

Here’s the archive showing it was there: http://archive.is/zzikn

Now it’s gone: https://markzaid.com/zaid/

Here’s the YouTube channel: http://YouTube.com/MarkSZaidEsq

The link was removed from the website today, shortly after screenshots of the “liked” videos of young Disney stars started circulating.

The videos he has chosen to leave a Like on are about… the prettiest — or “hottest” — Disney channel stars.

And Selena Gomez’s transformation from an infant into a woman.

Here are the interesting parts — the videos he has marked as “liked.”

I believe this is the first video linked. Note the title in the video says the top ten “hottest” Disney channel stars, not “prettiest.”

Lawyer to the stars?

Yeah, the child stars, maybe!

Oh well, maybe he was, like Joy Reid, hacked. And then the hacker was kind enough to go back in there and delete the videos he had liked.

Oh, and this isn’t the only clean-up being done on Zaid’s behalf today:

Trump is probably happy to see Bloomberg run. It opens up the possibility of a 3-man race next year, and that means the vote percentage needed to win a state’s electoral vote goes down.

Think about this: Bloomberg is not delusional enough to think he will win a majority of delegates in the primaries. He is going for a Brokered Convention, where he could leverage a few hundred delegates and boatloads of money into a nomination. Do you really think Bernie or his supporters will accept Bloomberg the Billionaire as their nominee? I don’t think so. In this scenario, Bernie runs Indie.

And consider this: If Warren or Sanders wins the nomination on the first ballot, will Bloomberg accept it? I doubt it, and think he runs as an Independent.

Alternatively, if the Convention awards the nomination to Biden, Buttigieg, or Hillary, there is little reason for the far left or Bloomberg to run 3rd party.
