During a press conference Tuesday President Trump once again commented on the violence in Charlottesville. Naturally, his remarks were instantly mischaracterized to portray Trump as condoning the very neo-Nazis and white supremacists he condemned in a brief speech Monday. In no time, the political media set began virtue signalling based on inaccurate summations of what Trump said. Heaven forbid media actually listen to or watch the words on which they comment.

Monday night, Texas A&M University released a statement saying the university had canceled a campus event reservation held by Preston Wiginton. Wiginton helped organize white nationalist leader Richard Spencer's campus visit late last year and promised Spencer would attend the upcoming rally scheduled for September 11.

The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) authority has decided not to release surveillance videos of robberies occurring at BART stations for fear they videos might incite racism. People have begun to fear for their safety due to the numerous crimes, but fears of stereotyping have taken priority with BART officials.

Despite claiming to want to end racism, members of the Black Lives Matter movement held a Memorial Day event which was open only to black people. Amber Randall reported at the Daily Caller:

While Sen. Warren is wearing out her victim card, Sen. Tim Scott used his time on the Senate floor to read hate mail he received since voicing his support for newly minted AG Sessions. “If you sign up to be a black conservative, the chances are very high you will be attacked,” said Sen. Scott. “It comes with the territory, and I’ve had it for 20 years, two decades, but my friends and my staff, they’re not used to the level of animus that comes in from the liberal left that suggests that I somehow am not helpful to the cause of liberal America and therefore, I am not helpful to black America.”

Last week, we covered the videoptaped torture of a mentally disabled Chicago teen at the hands of 4 black thugs, who taunted him with anti-white and anti-Trump insults. Meanwhile, progressives are still fighting the vast, alt-Right conspiracy whenever and wherever they can. For example, now there is a "Racists Anonymous" group, an Alcoholics Anonymous-type organization offering a recovery program for people struggling with their "white privilege".
The program is the brainchild of Reverend Ron Buford, a black pastor who worried that conversations about race left him angry and white participants guilty. He says he realized the need for the self-improvement program after witnessing Trump’s rise to power. Racists Anonymous is a 12-step program, and meetings begin with everyone in the room announcing that they are, in fact a racist (step one is, of course, admitting you have a problem). The white people in the group discuss their experiences with their own racism, minority attendees discuss experiences encountering racism in society.

Despite some initial hesitation by Chicago authorities to call the torture of a mentally disabled white man by four young black people a hate crime, they were charged with committing one, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's office. Additional charges were: "aggravated kidnapping, aggravated unlawful restraint, [and] aggravated battery...[one was also charged with] robbery and possession of a stolen motor vehicle...[and three] also were charged with residential burglary." Many of the details of what happened to the victim can be found in this post by Professor Jacobson. This would appear to have many of the elements of the type of offense known as a hate crime, obligingly documented and disseminated by the alleged perpetrators themselves.

Last night we reported the breaking story of a horrific live-streamed video of four black teens in Chicago torturing a white special needs youth while taunting him, Black Chicago teens torture special-needs boy, yell “F*** Donald Trump! F*** white people!” Today more horrible details were revealed by police, including the existence of a second video showing the perps forcing the victim to drink from the toilet. CBS Chicago reports:
A day after Chicago police said they were questioning four people about a “sickening” video showing the torture of a mentally disabled teen, a second video has surfaced showing the suspects forcing the young man to drink out of a toilet....

Shortly after Donald Trump won November's presidential election, Mary Chastain reported that a white motorist in Chicago had his car hijacked while being taunted by a  black mob that mocked and assaulted him, while shouting anti-Trump language. Those arrested for the hijacking were between 17 and 26 in age. Despite the clear shouting of anti-Trump slogans and racial nature of the assault, the media tried to downplay the incident. Now, another group of young Chicago thugs are under arrest for a racist and anti-Trump assault.

MTV News just released an incredibly racist and sexist video directed at White males. The video reduces tens of millions of people to stereotypes based on race and sex. Substitute any other group for White males, and there is no doubt that MTV would be the first make the accusation of racism and sexism. Cosmopolitan writer Helin Jung wrote that Victoria's Secret has developed racist lingerie for its annual fashion show. Yes, apparently lingerie can be racist:
None of that even sounds nice, but if it does, don't let yourself be hoodwinked by Victoria's Secret's brazen attempt to re-label what is clearly cultural appropriation by turning it into a celebration of "culture." The brand and its creative leads shamelessly cherry-picked imagery, breaking apart aesthetic references from wherever they wanted and stitching them back together again. They're telling us it's worldliness. It's not, it's a hack job.
As Emily Zanotti at Heat Street points out, when anyone tries to celebrate culture, people will greet it "with charges of bigotry."
