Estonian actress Mareli Miniutti reportedly has filed a restraining order against anti-Trump lawyer Michael Avenatti. Miniutti, who is based in New York City, "filed her petition Monday at the Santa Monica branch of Los Angeles County Superior Court." Reports confirmed today that Miniutti is the woman Avenatti allegedly abused last week. Authorities arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence. He left after four hours and posted $50,000 bail.

Tucker Carlson is already dealing with the fact that an Antifa mob showed up at his house and terrorized his wife, but now there has been another incident. While dining at a country club in Virginia with two of his children, one of his daughters was allegedly harassed by a patron who made positively vile comments to her. It was so bad, the man's membership in the club was ultimately revoked. And now the creepy porn lawyer is "investigating" the incident.

Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, sued Donald Trump for defamation over Trump's assertion that Daniels' lied about supposed threats against her. She is represented in the case by Democrat presidential hopeful Michael Avenatti. Those alleged threats were covered by us on April 17, 2018, Internet Works Feverishly to Identify Sketch of Stormy Daniel’s Alleged Threatener After Her Attorney Posts Reward Offer:

Michael Avenatti was the darling of the liberal media when he served the purpose of representing Stormy Daniels. But that ship has sailed, with her defamation case against Trump being thrown out of court, with Daniels to pay Trump's legal fees. The media doubled-down on Avenatti's star status when just before the hearings on the accusations by Christine Blasey Ford against Brett Kavanaugh, Avenatti released a declaration by Julie Swetnick making outlandish claims. Those Swetnick claims were that she witnessed Kavanaugh spiking the punch at high school parties and helping organize up to 10 gang rape parties.

Monday, a federal judge dismissed Stormy Daniels's defamation lawsuit against President Trump. When Trump suggested the porn actress lied about being told to keep quiet about their alleged relationship, Daniels then claimed Trump defamed her. Not only was the complaint dismissed, but Daniels was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees.

As of this writing, it appears that Christine Blasey Ford still plans on testifying at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday, September 27. A committee vote tentatively has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Friday, and a floor vote is likely early next week. Ford's attorneys still are objecting to some of the planned procedures, including the use of an as-yet unidentified female sex crimes prosecutor to ask questions for Republicans. Having complained that a female accuser would face questioning from the all-male Republicans on the committee, Democrats are now complaining that those male Senators have hired a female attorney to ask questions.

The field of Democratic nominees in 2020 is going to be massive. It is also going to be a pro-level competition in identity politics and a contest to see which candidates can out-left each other politically. Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti is positioning himself early as the candidate who will "fight" Trump.

We all know the Stormy Daniels story is not about Stormy Daniels.  It's been about undermining President Trump (not that this has happened because no one cares about his having a consensual one-night stand a decade ago), but it seems that it may also be about Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti and his own political aspirations.
