The MSM continues its silence on the growing attacks on Jews in Brooklyn. Even with video, these attacks mostly remain a local New York City story. Even the local NYC media doesn't cover attack, which leaves it up to the Jewish media. I tweeted about one such story on January 15th.

Poor BuzzFeed. Between the crappy reporting with the Russia investigation and laying off hundreds of employees, BuzzFeed now faces a revolt from those still employed over the fact that the publication will not provide the laid workers paid time off (PTO). So far 513 employees have signed the letter addressed to CEO Jonah Peretti, HR head Lenke Taylor, and editor-in-chief Ben Smith

On Monday I blogged that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg missed oral arguments for the first time in her tenure because she's recovering from surgery. Doctors removed cancerous nodules off her lung. I wrote that people joked about giving her their limbs and organs, but also wouldn't be surprised if people actually did this. Say no more! Politico Chief Political Columnist Roger Simon asked Twitter today if anyone would "subtract one day off your life and add it to Ruth Bader Ginsburg's life for one extra day of good health."

President Donald Trump tweeted today that he will give a national address on the situation on our southern border. He will travel to the area on Thursday. After hours of  "will they, won't they" coverage,  the broadcast networks and cable news networks decided they will broadcast Trump on Tuesday night. Only CBS confirmed the broadcast by Monday evening. However, their decision led to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to demand equal airtime.

Clarity Media Group, the owner of the publisher of The Weekly Standard, announced this morning that the magazine will shut down and print its last issue on December 17. From the press release:
Clarity Media Group announced today the closure of The Weekly Standard. On December 17, The Weekly Standard will publish its final edition. "For more than twenty years The Weekly Standard has provided a valued and important perspective on political, literary and cultural issues of the day," said Ryan McKibben, President and CEO of Clarity Media. "The magazine has been home to some of the industry's most dedicated and talented staff and I thank them for their hard work and contributions, not just to the publication, but the field of journalism."

I shared Becket Adams' piece on Rep. Nancy Pelosi's comments to the press on Facebook and said that hell froze over because I actually agreed with her on something. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I needed to write about it. Pelosi told the press:
“I wish the press would spend a lot more time on what we need to do here to meet the needs of the American people instead of morning, noon, and night allegations against the president,” said Pelosi, D-Calif.

On Wednesday night, a man in Baltimore shouted, "Heil Hitler, Heil Trump" during a production of Fiddler on the Roof. When reports came out, outlets like Mediaite and The New York Post referred to the man as a President Donald Trump supporter. I scoured previous reports and most of them buried this simple fact: The drunk man hates Trump.

The Huron Daily Tribune fired reporter Brenda Battel after she accidentally left an insulting voicemail for Michigan Republican Senate candidate John James. From The Daily Caller:
“Man, if he beats her [incumbent Democrat Sen. Debbie Stabenow]… Jesus! F***ing John James. That would suck! Whew, I don’t think it’s going to happen though,” Battel continued.

As the media and the left goes on and on about hateful rhetoric from President Donald Trump after numerous someone sent Democrat foes bombs, they seem to have forgotten that their rhetoric doesn't help either. You know, like this fantasy story at The New York Times that depicts the assassination of Trump by a Russian agent with the help of the Secret Service.

Megyn Kelly issued an apology on her show this week after defending the idea of a white person wearing blackface as part of a Halloween costume. Liberals never fully accepted Kelly based on her past work at FOX News. Now her future at NBC is looking bleak. NBC ran a rerun of an episode this morning and a spokesperson said that her show "Megyn Kelly Today will be on tape the rest of the week."
