In addition to their multiple calls for greater gun control, Democrats have found another message they believe is a winner for the 2018 midterms. They want to repeal the GOP tax cuts. They can't stand the idea of people being allowed to keep more of their own money.

While Democrats may see momentum ahead of the November 2018 midterms, voter registration may have them pull back their excitement just a little bit. The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that the number of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents registered to votes has fallen to 75% from 84% in November.

If you listen to the liberal media, a "Blue Wave" is coming in the 2018 midterms. Progressives across the country are just waiting to turn out by the millions and help the Democrats retake control of the House and Senate. But what if that's just a narrative? What if the media just keeps saying this as a form of wish casting? No one seems to believe the Democrats could screw this up. Well, almost no one.

The usual suspects on the left are melting down because the U.S. Department of Commerce has reinstated the citizenship question to the 2020 census.  You know the drill, this move is racist, xenophobic, tyrannical, and even, according to California's attorney general, illegal. The left is frantic because they are worried that illegal aliens will not fill out the 2020 census and as a result Democrat-held urban areas—where large numbers of illegals are concentrated—will lose out to more rural areas.  Rural areas tend to be more conservative and to vote Republican.

Cue Twilight Zone music.  I was flipping through the four channels my antenna picks up, and happened across Ellen, the daytime talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres.  She was interviewing Ellen Pompeo, who plays the title character Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy, and they were discussing income inequality.  Imagine my surprise when the two Ellens began to sound like Bill Whittle on wealth creation.

We all know that millionaire Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) hates banks and the financial sector. The woman seethes about it at every opportunity. Well, the idea of the government easing some some of the banking rules under Dodd-Frank has left her fuming. To make it worse for her SOME OF HER DEMOCRAT COLLEAGUES HAVE AGREED TO IT! For. Shame. Needless to say, the rebellion has caused some headaches for Minority Leader Chuck Schumer at a time the Democrats need unity.

The Democrats are desperate, aren't they? Reports have surfaced the past few days that say liberals have started to pressure Democrats to use the removal of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) as a campaign point for the 2020 election.

Earlier this week Senate Democrats introduced a tax plan designed to show what Democrats can be expected to do should they win back majorities in Congress. Their press release refers to their avoidance of "gimmicks and giveaways"; this appears to be a reference to the bonuses, pay raises, and private sector investment and job creation afforded by the new tax law.  All of which, the Democrat proposal would roll back.
