Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of attempting to rape her in high school, said she wanted to testify in front of the Senate. The Republicans immediately made it known they wanted to hear from her. After all, these are serious accusations and she, along with all victims, deserve to be heard. But Ford has not accepted the invite and now wants an FBI investigation before she testifies. Sen. Chuck Grassley said that if she doesn't show up on Monday, the Senate will move on and schedule a confirmation vote for Kavanaugh.

That practice has undergone a makeover after the city settled a lawsuit and pay victims $3 million. The case involved a family that lost their home due to "a minor drug crime committed by their son."

Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to fire Germany's intelligence chief Hans-Georg Maassen after he refuted her claims of right-wing "mobs" chasing migrants during the late August demonstrations in the eastern German city of Chemnitz, German newspaper Die Welt reported. "We have video recordings of [people] hunting down others, of unruly assemblies, and hate in the streets, and that has nothing to do with our constitutional state," Chancellor Merkel said last month after residents in the eastern German city took to the streets in response the reported killing of a 35-year-old German by a group of migrants.

Trump Orders Declassification of FISA Applications and Russia Probe Texts

Monday, the White House announced Trump's order for "immediate declassification" of the FISA application in the matter of Carter Page, a former Trump campaign advisor, which includes 20 pages of documents. Additionally, and the best part, Trump ordered public release "without redaction" of texts messages pertaining to the Russia investigation from James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.
