You know, every day I am glad I converted politically and am no longer a leftist feminist shill, mainly because I cannot believe how intolerant and insensitive they've become. The latest controversy comes from a leftist feminist professor, who also supports the BDS movement against Israel, because a man had the nerve to joke about wanting to go to the women's lingerie department.

The April jobs report has a few good and bad items. The economy added 164,000 jobs, which sounds great, but below the 175,000 - 190,000 forecasters predicted. The biggest news? The U.S. unemployment rate is at 3.9%. This is the first time the unemployment rate is below 4% since 2000.

WEIRD. Why am I only seeing this in Huffington Post? Oh yeah...that's because other outlets have hyped up Democrat hopes for the midterm. They also think trashing President Donald Trump will help along with constantly talking about numerous social justice issues. Top pollster Stan Greenburg, along with Democracy Corps' Nancy Zdunkewicz, and Women Voices Women Vote President Page Gardner, has accepted reality and warned his party that their "momentum has stalled" and will not pick up if they don't address real issues. You know, JOBS AND THE ECONOMY.

Remember when the left said that President Donald Trump's tax reform would not work because the companies would give those breaks to shareholders instead of reinvesting in the company?
Well, Bloomberg released data that shows capex (capital expenditure) has won out. It shows that the 130 companies in the S&P 500 have increased capital spending by 39%, which is the fastest rate in seven years. Returns to shareholders has only grown by 16%.

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) presented the GOP a gold wrapped present on a silver platter when she told The Boston Globe she's not going anywhere and wants the Speaker job back:
“We will win. I will run for speaker. I feel confident about it. And my members do, too,” Pelosi told a meeting of Globe reporters and editors. She was in Boston for a Democratic fund-raiser hosted by Representative Katherine Clark.

Last Friday, the GOP on the House Intelligence Committee released a report that found no collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump's campaign. That same report found that former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper leaked information about the dossier authored by Christopher Steele, which is also the force behind the Russian investigation, CNN and may have lied to Congress about it. Clapper told CNN last month he didn't leak information about the dossier to the media. George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said this is not true and Clapper lied to Congress.

A new Reuters poll shows that millennials have started to move away from the Democrat party. While the Democrats tout environment and social justice as key draws, the millennials who spoke to Reuters want mainly one thing: a stable economy.

History happened right before our eyes overnight when North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un became the first leader of the hermit kingdom to set foot in South Korea. He shook hands with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and the two men held an 8.5 hour summit, which included talks to end the six decade long Korean War, denuclearization, and begin talks with America.

Back in January 2017, after President Donald Trump took office, Greg Piatek, an accountant from Philadelphia visited the Happiest Hour Bar in New York City's West Village. Piatek wore a Make America Great Again hat, which prompted staff to ask Piatek and his friends to leave. He sued and claimed the staff "offended his sense of being American." His lawyer made a case for religious discrimination to no avail.

Last month, the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida issued a stay on Florida's system to restore voting rights for felons. The court then ordered Republican Governor Rick Scott and three Cabinet members to adopt a new system by April 26 to allow convicted felons to vote. The US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit blocked the ruling and decided the state does not have to immediately adopt a new system to restore the voting rights of convicted felons.

Maybe, just maybe, we're all just sick of his self-righteous victim mentality. A poll released this morning by Morning Consult/Politico showed that two-thirds of voters (64%) did not watch any of the interviews that James Comey gave on ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and NBC.

A lot of eyes are focused on Missouri, West Virginia, etc, but it looks like Tennessee deserves a lot more attention this midterm because it could easily flip to the Democrats. Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) chose not to seek re-election after serving two terms. The latest Mason-Dixon Polling and Strategy poll shows Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) down by three points to former Governor Phil Bredesen, her Democrat opponent.
