In The Wall Street Journal, Kimberley Strassel penned an op-ed that suggests the FBI may have placed a mole within then-GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign since the department will not reveal its top-secret source. And when did the FBI become so secretive? A former FBI agent wrote in the WSJ that in his time, Congress wouldn't ever need to request a subpoena to retrieve information from the bureau.

Wait, what? Did the Democrats actually listen!? Has Hell frozen over? For the past few weeks, I've blogged about the Democrats' loss of registered voters, how millennials have turned their backs to the Democrats because they want jobs, and a Democrat pollster's recommendation the party concentrate on the economy. Maybe, just maybe, the Democrats have opened their ears and eyes! Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has urged Democrats to spend more time on economic issues instead of bashing President Donald Trump.

Two Iraqi officials announced that an operation between U.S. and Iraqi forces led to the capture of five top ISIS members. From The New York Times:
The three-month operation, which tracked a group of senior Islamic State leaders who had been hiding in Syria and Turkey, represents a significant intelligence victory for the American-led coalition fighting the extremist group and underscores the strengthening relationship between Washington and Baghdad.

It looks like the GOP escaped another potential Roy Moore fiasco in West Virginia after the convict and former coal CEO Don Blankeship lost the GOP Senate primary. With Blankenship's loss and wins in other states, the GOP may be poised to gain a few seats in the Senate.

President Donald Trump announced that America will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal. Trump has consistently threatened to withdraw from the deal, but extended it a few times in his first year. However, in January, Trump said this would be his last waiver "unless the deal is strengthened by Congress and European allies."
