Trump issued a video announcement responding to the events of the last few weeks, in particular the violence last week and the massive and widespread cancellation of voices across the country.

Given the rapid deplatforming of Trump (who was permanently suspended from Twitter, his campaign store deplatformed, and his campaign email service cut) and his allies, and the suspension of Parler from Google's App Store (Apple is threatening Parler similarly), now seems as good a time as any to ask you to join us (if you haven't already) by signing up for our email list.

During a press conference, a CNN reporter attempted to paint Florida's rollout of the COVID vaccine as a failure by badgering Governor DeSantis with a talking point masked as a question.

Wednesday, Trump vetoed the pork-filled Defense Bill (NDAA). House Speaker Pelosi plans to take up a vote to override the veto next week.

Dr. Birx was outed Sunday for defying her own holiday get-together guidance issued to the general public and has decided to retire after the "overwhelming" experience of having her hypocrisy gracing national headlines. Birx will help the Biden team and then she's out.

Thursday I blogged about a demand letter (included beneath) sent to the city of Palm Beach and to the Secret Service, claiming Trump cannot legally claim Mar-a-Lago as his post-presidency residence. The story was widely reported by the Washington Post. I'm sure you'll be shocked to know that the WaPo just happened to leave out that the woman presumably behind the demand letter is also claiming that Mar-a-Lago's security system is injuring her brain.

To begin with, ???. Anyway, according to the WaPo, Trump's Mar-a-Lago neighbors filed a demand letter, which was delivered to the city of Palm Beach as well as the Secret Service, citing an agreement Trump signed in the 90s. They allege that because the location is now a club it cannot also be a private residence. The letter was filed by the DeMoss family who runs an international missionary foundation (I will not comment on their occupation and actions here).

Monday night Trump announced that Attorney General Bill Barr has resigned and will leave his post before Christmas. Barr will be replaced by acting Deputy AG Jeff Rosen.

New York City residents may be strapped with an additional $3 delivery surcharge for any package not containing food or medicine. The proposal would funnel the delivery fees to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority which is facing a massive budget shortfall (maybe because they keep shutting the city down?).
