Meet Amelia Hamilton — dearest friend, gifted children’s authoress, and education advocate. Amelia Hamilton is a blogger and author of the Growing Patriots children’s books. A lifelong writer and patriot, she also loves hockey, old cars, old movies and apple juice. Amelia has a master’s degree in both English and 18th-century history from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Sunday, while binge watching Hallmark Christmas movies, I sat down Hamilton to discuss her latest endeavor, The Growing Patriots Podcast.

If you want to change hearts and minds, get naked? A Democrat-supporting group did just that. Supposedly, their bare photo shoot is meant to encourage people to vote against Republicans. It's still not clear what getting naked has to do with voting.

Thursday night, Project Veritas released it's latest undercover video. The video appears to show Beto staffers discussing what they know to be improper campaign spending. In the video, various staffers discuss using campaign funds to help incoming immigrants. This is not one staffer suggesting as much nor a volunteer, but several different staffers suggesting (based on the video clips provided by Project Veritas) they're aware using campaign funds is not allowed and go on to discuss ways to skirt the spending rules. One even mentions the possibility that getting busted could invoke a $50,000 fine.

Elections bring out the best and brightest our country has to offer, like this guy. In Montrose (Houston's artsy and therefore more liberal pocket), a mustachioed man was filmed pulling up and destroying Ted Cruz yard signs. When confronted, he yelled, "I hate Ted Cruz!" and retreated to a coffee shop.

Were almost a solid two years into Trumps presidency and a good chunk of the population is still in denial. And so is Hillary Clinton, apparently. After Eric Garner's mom was introduced to a very small gathering, Hillary was introduced. Someone shouted, "The Real President!" Hillary didn't correct or dispute the claim. Instead, she grinned widely and nodded in agreement. The small crowd laughed and cheered and Hillary nodded and smiled all the while.

Friday, a Russian woman was charged for allegedly interfering in US elections, including the 2018 midterms. The Department of Justice indicated that the criminal charges are not indicative of interference to the degree that electoral outcomes were swayed. Elena Khusyaynova, 44, is accused of attempting to "sow discord", "as part of a conspiracy that exploited thousands of social media accounts and emails that claimed to be owned by U.S. residents, authorities said," reports CNBC.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi received a less than warm welcome in Miami Wednesday. When Pelosi was headed into a meeting with Democrat activists and leaders, a group of pro-Trump Cuban Americans (as identified by the video's title), yelled profanities at her, saying, "F*cking Communist! You don't belong here, f*cking Communist!"
