President Obama is still pushing for the U.S. to accept more refugees from Syria, and his agenda is now being supported by the U.S. State Department. The Hill reports:
State seeks to pick up pace on bringing Syrian refugees to US The State Department is hoping to bring an average of nearly 1,500 Syrian refugees to the United States per month in order to meet President Obama's target of settling 10,000 refugees in the country by September.

The Hillary Clinton campaign might want to reel in Bill Clinton for a little while, as he's starting to do more damage than good. In an obviously unscripted appearance this week, President Clinton suggested that Bernie Sanders supporters might want to shoot people on Wall Street. The Hill reports:
Bill Clinton: Sanders fans would ‘shoot every third person on Wall Street’ Former President Bill Clinton on Friday joked that Bernie Sanders’s supporters would open fire on Wall Street.

Student protesters at Ohio State University recently learned a valuable lesson. Mainly because the administration drew a line in the sand and told them calmly that if they persisted, they would be arrested and possibly expelled. The way it was handled was brilliant. An administrator explained to the students that the people who work in the building they were occupying deserve to feel safe too, a concept which blew their minds. The Atlantic reported:
Ohio State Turns the Concept of 'Safe Space' Against Student Protesters At Ohio State last week, a sit-in and protest inside a university building was cut short when students were warned that they would be forcibly removed by police, arrested, and possibly expelled if they did not vacate the premises within a few hours, by 5 a.m.

Vladimir Putin is acting out aggressively again. On Tuesday, Russian military jets flew extraordinarily close to a U.S. Navy ship in the Baltic Sea. This wasn't an isolated incident, either. According to various reports, the Russians carried out this maneuver multiple times over two days and American defense experts are stunned. This report from the Military Times puts the incident in perspective:
Russian attack aircraft just flew within 30 feet of a U.S. Navy ship In one of the most aggressive actions in recent memory, Russian warplanes conducted “simulated attacks” on the a U.S. Navy vessel in the Baltic Sea on Tuesday, repeatedly flying within 30 feet of the ship, according to a defense official.

When you think back to the presidency of George W. Bush and try to recall things that were said about him by celebrities, you're likely to think only of the negative. Bush was regularly lampooned as an idiot on Saturday Night Live and Kanye West stupidly declared after Hurricane Katrina that "Bush doesn't care about black people." The truth is that no president, including his successor, has done more for victims of AIDS in Africa than George W. Bush, a fact that's routinely ignored by his critics.

Bill Whittle's new Firewall video is inspired by a recent incident at San Francisco State University which we also wrote about. As usual, Whittle does an outstanding job of dismantling the left and exposing them for the hypocrites they are. Here's a partial transcript via Truth Revolt:
Firewall: Appropriate This! Well, “Cultural Appropriation” is the latest form of combat used by Social Justice Warriors: a term used by crybullies to describe themselves as fighters against prejudice and privilege. They are the first warriors in history to burst into tears and require weeks of therapy at the mere sight of an actual weapon.

At an event on Saturday night, Hillary Clinton and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio made a lame attempt at humor which was blatantly racist. The New York Times chose to call it a "racially charged" joke:
Racially Charged Joke by Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio Leaves Some Cringing In less than three minutes, a comedy routine between Hillary Clinton and Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York managed to cause a storm of controversy over a racially charged joke. It happened on Saturday night when Mrs. Clinton made a surprise visit to the Inner Circle dinner, an annual black-tie event that brings together the city’s press corps, lobbyists and lawmakers. She strode on stage with Mr. de Blasio and Leslie Odom Jr., the actor who plays Aaron Burr in the hit musical “Hamilton.”

Hillary Clinton no longer has to feel singled out for being investigated by the FBI. She is now joined by New York City mayor Bill de Blasio. The Wall Street Journal reports:
Mayor Bill de Blasio Defends Fundraising as Probe Widens New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio defended his fundraising activities on Sunday after reports surfaced about a federal investigation into the matter, and said neither he nor his aides have been contacted by investigators. “Everything we’ve done is appropriate and carefully done with many, many lawyers, I assure you,” Mr. de Blasio said during an interview on NBC.

The battle for the Democratic nomination is finally getting very interesting. Bernie Sanders' campaign manager Jeff Weaver recently appeared on CNN and while host Carol Costello was (of course) defending Hillary Clinton's record, Weaver dropped some heavy criticism. Weaver went after Hillary for her ties to corporate cash, a usual tactic for the Sanders camp, and then blamed her for the rise and spread of ISIS.

Bret Baier of FOX News recently did a report on how the military has shrunk under Obama, and the response was so great, he went back and aired interviews that didn't make it into the program. Baier spoke with three of Obama's former secretaries of defense, and they all told a similar story. The Washington Free Beacon has more:
Obama’s Former Pentagon Chiefs: Military Suffered From Overbearing, Inexperienced White House The U.S. military has been hindered by an overbearing and inexperienced White House under President Barack Obama, according to each of his three former defense secretaries, causing the Pentagon to struggle to carry out operations and make decisions.

Over at Instapundit, Glenn Reynolds asks: Is Hillary Clinton turning into Martha Coakley? It would be great for Republicans if she is. The column being cited is by Kimberly Atkins of the Boston Herald:
Hillary Clinton better take notice before being Coakleyed WASHINGTON — The Wisconsin primary — Hillary Clinton’s sixth loss in a row — was a warning shot across her bow: She’s at risk of becoming the national version of Martha Coakley.

Can you tell what's racist about the image above? Allow me to explain. You see the black girl is nothing more than an arm rest for the white girl. That's the latest outrage from the left. The photo was part of an ad for the Gap but they've pulled it and apologized. Ace of Spades says it's "Because They're Weak and Stupid and Have Been Scared By People Who Are Even Weaker and Stupider" and he's right. USA Today reports:
Gap apologizes for racially insensitive ad Clothing retailer Gap apologized on Tuesday after receiving criticism that an ad for the company’s children’s clothing line was racially insensitive.

President Obama announced Tuesday that he's planning to bring a greater fight to the terror group ISIS, saying he plans to "scale-up" the fight. CNN reported:
Obama looks to scale up ISIS fight President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he was looking for ways to scale up the battle against militants in Iraq and Syria ahead of a White House meeting with top U.S. military brass. The planning session on combating the terror group was not expected to yield major shifts of strategy.

Hillary Clinton has finally agreed to another debate with Bernie Sanders after days of taunting between the two campaigns. The debate will happen in Brooklyn on April 14th. Brooklyn is an interesting choice because Clinton's campaign headquarters is there and it's also hipster central and therefore, a hotbed of support for Sanders. ABC News has the details:
Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders Agree to Debate in Brooklyn The Democratic candidates' debate over debates has been resolved —- at least for now.

Stewardesses for Air France have been ordered to wear headscarves when flying into Iran's capital of Tehran and they're not happy about it. The order has sparked a backlash. The Telegraph reports:
Air France stewardesses mutiny over order to wear headscarves Air France stewardesses, furious at being ordered to wear headscarves in Tehran, say they will refuse to fly to the Iranian capital when the airline resumes the service later this month.
